I am very excited about this game. It's one of my most anticipated, along with The Last Guardian, Ni No Kuni, Counter strike GO etc. I can't wait for the videos to start rolling in from the private beta. This game has soooo much potential and I think Sony will actually market it so it gets the recognition it deserves.
I will buy this game if they fix this problem.
Yes, it should have been nominated, but my point still stands as well. Although I think devs should focus a bit more on innovation and creativity than graphics at this point, your post just confirms my above statement that there may be politics, etc. involved in the nomination process. This is a somewhat mainstream award show so we shouldn't be surprised that there are some elements of bias involved.

Of course! They might as well nominate Skyrim for best PS3 game, but they won't because $ :D Award shows are generally full of politics and I doubt this one is any different. Not really sure if I'll be watching yet.
Half of the xbox games nominated are on PS3 and all of the Ps3 games are exclusives. Thus continuing the trend of tricking the people into thinking multiplats are actually exclusives.

Yes, but Americans have different perception of the Wii because of the massive PR, marketing and hype that has surrounded it at times. If it's not the PS3 price point that is making it sell less, perhaps it is their marketing, which I mentioned. They have many highly marketable games, the PS3 can do many things, and is an AMAZING value. I plan to work on development for the PS Suite because I am a huge Playstation fan and the dev kit is reasonably priced. I do wish that they would start marketing their products and services correctly in my country though(US). PS3 is down to almost a mass market price now and their decent UC3 campaign may have been a sign that they will turn up the heat. Either way, I respect what they are doing. I just think people could be better informed.
Yes, awful isn't it. Anyway, the article doesn't mention whether or not the episodes will be unedited and english SUBBED. That would be the deciding factor for me. Great show though, love it so far.
It was the first online shooter I really tried to master. My mastery of CS 1.6 made it possible for me to kick ass in pretty much every other FPS(and made them seem easy). To this day, I would still rather play CS than pretty much any other shooter on the market.
Yes, I agree and I still consider counterstrike to be my favorite FPS on the market. CS GO will be just amazing as long as they stay true to their fans. I don't think they will take the path that Zipper did. Let the casuals have their respawn, DLC, auto aim, and other BS.
Well, considering Sony's marketing is not too amazing here in the US, I think they did quite well. If they spent as much money as MS on marketing, they would pull the same numbers(or better) considering they have a superior exclusive lineup, etc. The price point is also an issue, because a lot of people(especially impulse buyers) think the box is a better deal because it is slightly cheaper. <sigh>

I'm pretty sure there are people who get paid lots of money to sit around and make up stupid laws all day. Fortunately, a lot of them never come to fruition.
I usually don't like advertisements, but I wouldn't mind seeing some of those here in the US, maybe with the PS logo featured more prominantly.

darn it, I make one post that isn't well thought out and I have sarcasm all over me. Obviously it is a GOTY contender and the recent patch will make it all the more worthy. The complaints that the minority have are gone and there is nothing left to complain about. Now it is certainly a contender.
Great and thank you for not putting "Dark souls is so difficult" in the headline. games are supposed to be $#@%ing challenging. I think Dark Souls is a winner, perhaps my personal game or the year.
Playstation Vita will be a major hit for years to come if Sony markets it correctly.
