Resistance 3 had a weak marketing campaign(IMO) and unfortunately, most people around here buy what they're told to buy.

My friend just bought a PS3 today. I brought this game over. We played it for over 9 hours. Glad you like it.

Me too and they wouldn't have to implement these passes if they weren't getting screwed by used game sales, etc. They buy a relatively new game from a gullible kid for 5 dollars, then sell it for $40, all at the developers expense. It's time for gamers to start supporting developers. You can find the games new online for the same price anyway.

oOoO, look at Dark Souls (PS3). With all this success, they better not get all "main streamy" on me. I suppose instead, they will set an example for others and hard core games will become even more popular.
Also, newcomers looking for more will undoubtedly go pick up Demon's Souls at one point or another. For sticking with us hardcore gamers, they deserve every penny they earned and much more to come.

Agree completely and well said. If this is a blow for those that promote the buying and selling of used games(I'm talking big greedy businesses) then I am in favor of it. Devs lose millions of dollars every year because people want to save a few pennies and get ripped off at the same time. I do not feel bad for the people that buy used games IN GENERAL. If you are poor, I feel for you, but a lot of games are cheaper NEW on Amazon and elsewhere.
Yes, I'm sure that had something to do with it. Just another thing to divert people's attention. I'm guessing a whole bunch of people have short attention spans and need to be constantly reminded of what to buy.
