The Vita is cheap. I warned people to look out for an an influx of anti-vita smear articles and now here they are. Expect more of them, perhaps their comp is scared.
Phones are not a threat, as the 3DS managed to smash the DS's year one sales in only 8 months.

I think they are both cool. I just bought bought a 3DS online a few hours ago and will be buying a Vita day one. I hope Sony's marketing is strong, the Vita breaks records, and the people behind these stupid articles are left eating their words.

I happen to have a TV capable of 3D and just bought a 3DS on ebay. The masses will buy these devices in droves when they are hyped, cheap, and made to seem practical. If you don't think the easily sold public will buy 3D, give it a bit more thought.
Great point! That alone will be reason enough to carry a dedicated portable gaming device for many people.

I swear I hear people nitpicking about the silliest little things regarding the Vita. It's like they see one little fault and forget all the amazing aspects this thing will offer. Expect amazing hardware and the same amazing level of first and third party support we enjoy with the PS3 and then some.

It's not really worth nitpicking about little things regarding the Vita.

Have been meaning to get this game for months. Sold amazingly well considering the intense smear campaign, etc. I will be picking it up when the time is right and hopefully PD will continue the amazing support.
Very nice! Cant wait to unbox mine when it releases here in the US. Hopefully we will see a game selection that rivals the PS2 at some point. Don't forget to market this thing though Sony, because people will need to know about it and how awesome it is if you expect big sales.
I would love to throw linux on a haxed Vita or really have versatile access to it's power. I only buy recent games brand new to support devs though. They are more enjoyable when you actually spend money on them :]
oot is breathtaking, but isn't even the best game on N64 in my opinion, or my favorite zelda. I played oot after FF7, which made the story, characters, longevity, etc. feel a bit lacking.
I can't wait to play this new Zelda though and see what all the fuss is about.
...and having said that, I can't wait to replay OOT on the 3DS, especially since I heard it has the more difficult master quest to play through.

They seem to talk more about PS3 games, you're right. Yet people keep giving these trashy articles attention and making them heat up.
PS3 won, but they don't spend enough money on marketing, so sheep don't pay as much attention to it as they could.
Now, if they mentioned Ps3 on every cheesy sitcom, had Killzone 3 mountain dews, Move was on ellen oprah and bieber, a cool commercial with cool colors popped up every 30 seconds on tv, etc. it would be a different story.

haha, amen brother. I think as gamers, we should all be rejoicing that these handhelds dedicated to gaming are doing so darn well in spite of all the BS articles popping up. The haters have been eating their words after the 3DS turns out to smash the BEAST DS's year one sales and is only gaining steam. The Vita will be a smash hit as well. We know it has the games and I think Sony is smart enough to back it up with a great marketing campaign.
