I've been tired of this for months, so.....
anyone who compares a Vita or a 3DS to a phone loses credibility automatically.
I don't fall for biased articles.
People with brains look at the facts.
Exactly! I think every real gamer should be supporting the Vita and the 3DS. Gamers (and of course fanboys) should look beyond sales especially this time and see that it's in their own best interests for both devices to succeed.
I would hardly consider them a hinderance. Have you seen 3DS first year sales? 3DS is smashing DS first year sales and outselling every home console. With all this supposed "competition", 3DS is still smashing sales records.
The Vita will be highly successful as well with quality MARKETING and games.
3DS is cheaper though(and has good marketing), so that might sway some casuals, uninformed penny pinchers, etc.
However, we don't ...
Another one of these articles. Vita when it comes to gaming obviously. As a gamer I support dedicated gaming devices. I'm not really sure that I like the direction "smart phones" are heading anyway, although I do own one.
Another lame trade in "deal". As usual, you can get more selling on ebay, craigslist, to a friend, etc. That way both parties make out anyway :D
I smell multi-account trolls. Must be the optimistic Vita article. Oh well, in 3 years when I'm playing multiplayer with my friends on Vita, I will look back and laugh.
Maybe as gamers we should refuse to approve articles that bash the Vita with an obvious agenda.
If certain people had there way, 3DS and Vita wouldn't exist and we would all be "gaming" on "smartphones".
As someone said above, we should probably be supporting Vita, 3DS, dedicated gaming devices and try to bring the industry back to when it was more pure.
@below, don't forget about competition and people paid to do ...
I might be getting this because I had to sell the original copy a few months ago.
It's okay. I just started watching the show within the last year. I don't really think you gave away too much because I don't really know anything else about the scene yet. Thanks for the response.
lol when gamers seem to be more concerned about graphics than gameplay.
Great I love spoilers.
Last I heard, no official release date yet. Something about it being a valve game and releasing "whenever it's ready". Which I like, because we know we'll be getting a quality game that is not rushed. Hopefully soon though!
This is definitely one of the first games I'll be getting for the Vita.
Yeah, I agree. It's one of a handful of commonly played games that are hardcore enough to be an adrenaline rush. Really looking forward to this game's release. First on PC then I will probably pick up the PS3 version.
Possibly my most anticipated game at this point.
Rayman would look and play exceptionally on that system. Other than that I would definitely consider Wipeout. Super Stardust would also be perfect for the Vita. Personally, the game I want the most is Ninja Gaiden because I haven't had a chance to really play through it on Ps3.
Well, there haven't been many huge, highly marketed games released recently.
The thing about the consoles being too old is pretty much BS, as the PS2 sold as much as 20 million units(a year) between it's 4th and 7th years and in it's 8th year sold around 15m units.
If you are anxious to start next gen so you can mAx GameZ ouT on yer TV, please consider the creative limitations high development costs(can often) employ.
Or go play C...
I'm not sure I take anything on television seriously and definitely not that channel. Can't wait to play this game and I'm pretty sure I'll like it just as much as the others or more.
For a game with a relatively small budget, the game sold exceptionally well.
One of the reasons it is so well liked and well received is because of the sense of "challenge", intimidation, and satisfaction it presents.
If they softened it up for "casuals", I for one would not buy it and may lose respect for them.
I know there are many thousands of gamers who actually want to play a somewhat challenging game, hence the succe...
I think I'm going to have to fork over some cash for one sooner than I expected.
