I lived in a very small village so yes I knew 9/10 people. There was only about 100 houses there.
Plus I didn't know anyone except myself at college or work with a PS3 either. Its different now though everyone has PS4.
I don't know but I know that around where I lived everyone had Xbox 360. I knew maybe one or two people with a PS3, and there was hardly a household without an Xbox 360.
Yeah what a load of crap, my newer Xbox One controller is way more matte than my old one, and that is obviously because my old one was used for months on end and my new ones barely been touched.
Cant really compare them well when one has alot of signs of use getting in the way.
I think DS4 controller are terrible quality. My first one the thumbsticks just stopped working, not to mention the rubber peeling.
My second one, the right trigger snapped very short into its lifespan, and the touchpad stopped working.
It was easy to replace the trigger, and it turned out one of the ribbon cables inside the touchpad had somehow fell out so just needed plugging in, but god knows how that happened, it had never been dropped or anything.

Doesn't look like my kind of game, but I love the model of the creepy long armed girl. Id love to get hold of that and have a play with it, 3D modelling is an awesome way to pass time.
Theyre free games, get over it. Its not like you didn't pay for XBL Gold before we got freebies, so youre not losing anything.
PS4 hasn't been much better, Outlast and Dead Nation are great. Apart from those the only one I could bring myself to complete is Stick it To The Man.

Power doesn't mean much to be honest. Look at the power gap between PS2 and OG Xbox...yet PS2 smashed it.
Not saying X1 will ever smash PS4, just an example of when it really didn't matter.
I don't think so. The original Sonics are timeless classics. They are one of the few games that are just as good today.
Look at it this way, the majority of us paid for XBL Gold way before Games with Gold was introduced. The price has not gone up, and now we are receiving free games every month. Any free games a good game to me, were just getting even more value for money.
I like to see Outlast running on NES...
This reminds me - did anyone notice how many shots of "Rage" box and title screen were in Breaking Bad? Often in Jesses house they snuck in some sort of reference to the game, be it the pause screen or the game on the shelf.
It was like theyd been paid to promote it, only when Jesse played Rage it was a light gun rail shooter...nothing like the real game. False advertising? Or am I over thinking it??
First time playing TLOU, and honestly I think its one of the only games that lives up to hype.
The gameplay is solid, the story engaging and the visuals stunning.
My one gripe right now is the online servers, at times its taken my party (no matter who's hosting) up to 20 mins to find a game and its not much better alone. Fix this and its pretty much perfect to me.
Haven't played my X1 in ages but i remember it always being fast. I play PS4 primarily, and my main issue with that is how slow it is. People say its because my HDD is likke 2/3s full but that's not an excuse, my friends list and store take minutes to load at times.
Not for me theyre not. Ill buy physical copies, everytime. If they stop making them ill stop gaming, less people will be able to buy games and people will lose jobs. Wont happen.

Personally I think indies are good for this gen, its the first gen theyve actually gotten attention and been bought to the masses.
They were on 360, but no one seemed to care...

For those that want to play all those games without buying them then yes, its great value. If they update them with new titles then it would be amazing value.
Is it doing even better on Xbox 360 though? I noticed on the CEX website they offer £10 for TF on X1 but £17 for the 360 version, suggests to me that its in higher demand on 360.
If that's the case, it must of sold a hell of alot.
