Yeah I cancelled now too. I'll buy it if, after one month people are still raving about it. IM betting after one month itll be gathering dust in most peoples collections, but Id be happy to be proven wrong.
Im looking forward to Halo, only played the first and third, and hardly played online at all.
Destiny really isn't all that, people seem to be seeing that now. I saw it about 2 hours into the Alpha and it was only confirmed by the Beta.
For me the best launch game was Resistance Fall of Man.
Not because it was an amazing game, but because it was the first online multiplayer shooter I had ever played - sort of.
Id touched on Battlefield 2 on the PC but only briefly, and Id had a go at a big lan match on UT2003 at school but aside from that Id only played single player and split screen. PS3 was the first console I ever had online and with it I had Resistance.

Well I cant. Ran out of plus and used a 48 hour trial so I could play Battlefield 4 online, but all my PS Plus games were still locked.
Became unlocked the second I bought another month.
@Djplonker I know its not a nationwide thing they still sell them in supermarkets in other towns, its weird. Someone said it had something to do with the new model that was released, yet my Tesco still doesn't have them.
Your spot on about the games, the Vita isn't advertised well and nor are the games.
I thought this happened to me. Turned out PS Plus titles don't work if your using a free PS Plus trial, which is dumb.

I agree. All the major supermarkets near me, Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys etc have stopped stocking the Vita.

Long boss fights on MMORPGs are usually good. Spending an hour on a boss in WoW for example can be great fun, as you have such a range of skills/abilities and everyone has a role. 40 man raid teams where everyone has to work together is amazing. However Destiny doesn't pull that off. Its just 3-4 people shooting at the boss until it dies basically.
I know right...I preordered South Park Stick of Truth on an error for under 10p. Ofcourse they didn't honor it, I didn't expect them to either.
The price match thing is total rubbish.

GTA isnt mediocre, but its far from perfect. Another example of a flawed rating system.
I never pay attention to numbered scores. Its all opinion...for me the beta is like a 5 but for others its probably a 9.
Numbered scales are stupid anyway. In the gaming world, 1-7 is a bad game, 8 is ok, 9 is good and 10 is perfect. IMO i should be more like:
1-4 Terrible - Below Average
5 - Average
6-8 - Above Average to really good
9 - Outstanding
10 - Absolutely Flawless. (I dont think Ive played a game that would get 10 from me j...
