IM a big horror fan,but in terms of movies the genre has been going downhill for years. Its rare to get a horror rated higher than a 5/10 these days on IMDB. There is no originality or iconic characters anymore.
However, it seems that with all the upcoming horror titles that fans of the genre may be able to get their fix through video games, which is fine by me!
After playing PT demo I am, for the first time in a while, optimistic about the future of horror!

I guess that's a valid point,. I don't buy any games new, but neither do I buy them from preowned stores, theyre a rip off.
I buy them off other people who have every right to sell their possessions. I then support the devs by buying DLC, online passes etc. I don't even think you can play console games online if they're pirated, zo those people aren't buying DLC or anything. Much worse.

I'm wondering this too. Its happened on COD before, and it was far from popular, hence it being scrapped after MW2..

To the people cancelling - why the hell subscribe in the first place?! We all knew what games were available so its not exactly a surprise.
I think its a good deal, if you want to play those games.
I'm a bit wary of trophies now, as there is no online trophy support for PS4. Makes me paranoid one day something will go wrong and ill lose them all.
Plus trophy hunting is (sorry, was) the best thing to do while internet was down.
Bring back offline support Sony!
Once upon a time, games had demos. Trying before you buy is nothing new, this is just a new way of doing it.
This way atleast one person has to buy the game instead of releasing a free demo..
Im not suprised some devs dont like porting to PC, it would be pirated weeks before release and half the community would have already finished it by the time its out!
I know console games get pirated too, but I see a hell of alot more torrents for PC. Just to check this I searched "Watch Dogs" on a popular torrent site. The first 5 results are on PC with an average 3000 seeders and 1000 leechers. The highest console copy has 200 seeders and 100 leechers..
Im not sure I like his new look =/ I guess its just the updated graphics, but he looks too different to me.
Probably just used to the style of Uncharted 1-3.

I find if I wait a few months I can pick it up for £20, and usually it stays at around the £20 mark for a while so I can often get 100% of my money back.
In fact, Ill just stick it on my rent list, keep it until Im bored and send it back. Unless I love it,then Ill buy it.
It just felt less futuristic and Sci fi. O think it was the theme that felt better to me. I dunno, I love Snake Eater the most though.
I would as I'm confident in my abilities, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it to someone who isn't.

Tomb raiders great the way it is. It doesn't need to evolve with the time. Not every game needs to go Sci fi/futuristic.
I was a huge fan of MGS until MGS4, which was awful IMO.
The latest installment seems to head back to its roots, thank god.
Good article, still not sold on the game. Alpha/Beta were incredibly bland and boring.
