Ouch indeed!
Would love to read the piece, but... website is blocked to the EU :(
Note: PES 2019 is also free for a limited time
THAT, would be epic! Certainly beats my current POS horse.
Damn. What a harsh situation.
It's a shame that it's put you off multiplayer socialising in the game, but in honesty if I was in your shoes, I'd probably feel the same way after witnessing that scumbag.
Not sure anyone could go three rounds with that...
Personally don't see that changing anytime soon. Sony has killed it this gen.
@Shikoku as @Lighter9 said, I meant mid next-gen. I did say that in my original message.
Exactly this ^
I think she needs to sit out until at least mid next-gen. Soul Reaver, please?
I wouldn't say it's a wasted deal. I mean, a seven day lead is still a lead. CoD fans will want the platform with faster access to new content, be it a week, a month or whatever. Can't say I agree with your "best played on Xbox One X" either, I mean, it may look slightly (ever so slightly) better on the Xbox One X, but they'll play the same regardless of platform or controller. Not going to comment on the online service part, as Xbox services have been up and down th...
Not sure how it can play better. It may look marginally better, marginally, but I'm sure they'll play the same.
Same
I'd definitely day one it if you enjoyed the prior two. The story has its ups and downs for sure, but man, the tombs, the puzzles, the combat and gameplay diversity is ahead of TR and Rise.
Personally never played it myself, but our reviewer tried it on both wheel and pad and had to constantly toy with the handling. I prefer the arcade-style racers myself. I have to say though, I do miss classics :/
The future? The problem arises, Capcom, when you take steps away from horror and take steps towards action. There's nothing wrong with action sequences in Resident Evil games, but when you take it too far, it's no longer Resident Evil.
The same can be said about silly design choices - Chris punching a nine foot boulder. Mandatory Ernest P. Worrell-like AI partners, and so forth.
Stick with the formula that made the series great to begin with (whic...
Top review! Couldn't agree more
If you're a fan of co-op you'll love it. Each of its modes and maps are designed specifically with co-op in mind. It can get somewhat tricky as a solo, but nevertheless, it's a solid game and certainly one of Rebellion's finest titles. I only hope that it gets the attention it deserves, releasing on the verge of a busy season.
Why you got downvoted for speaking the truth is beyond me...
NT and Play, as you say, know what they're doing. I think what makes Compulsion interesting is their Tim Burton-like We Happy Few. It's an eerie game that has a distinct theme - despite the gameplay and performance being below standard. UL on the other hand, I think everyone enjoys their SoD games, but it would be nice to see something a bit more high quality next time around.
Initiative...
You played them? I'm not the reviewer but I'll tell ya, it's like a longgggggg to nostalgia.
Gutted that III has yet to be confirmed for Xbox One -_-
They deserve to. PS has been outstanding this gen.
