Like I said, I love the game and it's certainly near the top of my list. I just have a hard time seeing it as the most important and most influential game of all time. Edit - so this would only include games after 2001 though.
I loved The Last of Us too, very much... but damn, Game of the Century?
@Anast Ok, that's wonderful for you in your preference, but it still has nothing to do with my original comment.
Yea, it's just a rating. The A's don't stand for any word. They could have just googled it, it was borrowed from the credit industry's bond ratings back in the 90's, where "AAA" bonds represented the safest opportunity most likely to meet their financial goals. The credit industry also has BBB, BB, BB, CCC, CC, C & D ratings as well. Let's just keep it at AAA, AA, A though! Better and easier. 😅
@Anast I think this is where the failure of communication came. You perhaps skimmed over my original comment, and didn't acknowledge some key words in the post. "Most of us have to be SELECTIVE OF HOW MANY massive open world games we can take on in our adult lives."
This wasn't a comment about the ability to play Open World games as an adult. It was a comment about "HOW MANY" you can play, and the need to be selective, as far as being able to fi...
@Anast so true haha Everything can be quiet for the longest time, then RIGHT when you start the game, the wife comes in making requests. (Which funny enough, you seem to understand here, but were arguing against in the other article! Adult priorities.) 😂
@Anast You're still missing the point of my original comment. I 100% agree that you can still find 30 mins or 1 hour here and there and enjoy a few games..
But at that rate you will never have time to play and finish everything you want. It just doesn't add up. Which is the exact reason why 6 years later, I still haven't gone back and finished Assassins Creed Origins. I was enjoying the 10 or so hours that I played of it, but I had to prioritize other games beca...
**edit, deleted - meant to post this in other thread above. My bad.**
Sweet. I just picked up a Steel Series Arctis Pro a few months ago, so I'm definitely interested in the Dolby Atmos support.
There's some great other features in this update. 8tb M.2 SSD support is amazing, but pricey as heck! Still nice to have for those who want to upgrade. Prices should be better in the future. I have a 4tb in mine for now.
If you can juggle many open world games at once, then great and congrats to you for having a lot of free-time. Most people with full-time jobs and families simply cannot finish many open worlds, considering the time investment. Nowhere did I say that we don't play open world games at all. You having a lot of time on your hands sounds like a personal thing as well. I'm not knocking you, I've been there, but we're obviously in different places in our lives.
Ask and you shall receive! (hopefully it's true! 🤞)
I literally just mentioned that I wished they would remake Oblivion with modern mechanics just 7 days ago on another article! I am super excited if this is true, especially if they bring it to VR like Skyrim!

I really hope there is ...
Yea, they've never even properly remade a GTA game yet, as much as I'd love to have a RDR remake. Hopefully we'll be proven wrong, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Perfect. 👌👌
I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.
I applaud this move IF the 20-30 hours is indeed quality content. (to be determined) Most of us have to be selective of how many massive open world games we can take on in our adult lives. I had a good 30-40 hours in Odyssey and still felt overwhelmed that I had so much left to do. I always meant to go back to it, especially after the PS5 patch, but just never found the time. I never got more than 5 hours into Valhalla bc I felt that nagging inside to go back and finish Odyssey... but even mo...
Next, they'll be replacing the Xbox logo on the startup screen w a Dorito chip w an "X" on it. Get to the dashboard, bubble animation in the bg and a voice whispering "Do the Dew."
Activision Blizzard are basically a bunch of Treasure Goblins. I sure miss the old days.
Sounds good enough! He loves to watch me play Snowrunner and Mudrunner too. He just gets stuck over and over, but enjoys watching me save him :)
I'm really hoping they create a sequel that they can expand upon with multiplayer and huge connected worlds. This could be Sony's Rec Room or Roblox if they supported it right. It would be the best looking of the bunch for sure!
Honestly, I think Sony should put Media Molecule in charge of creating a new Playstation Home platform, utilizing these player creation tools they've developed.
I can only imagine how amazing a cohesive PS Home world ...
Yea, this is John Beech's creation.. I remember him showing these trains in production 2 or so years ago, so it's pretty amazing how far he's taken it!
John's story is pretty awesome. He was just a normal guy working a construction job, and he built Little Big Planet levels on PS3 just for fun. Media Molecule contacted, then hired him bc his creations were so good.
He has been a lead designer for MM, 14 yrs, until recently he became their...
