Well the poster put XBox, PS4, PS5 tags.. so those do or don't have pre-load in September?
If this only relates to the PC version, it should only have a PC tag.
No pre-load is ridiculous. It should be standard for digital games now days.
I watched the Digital Foundry review & they called it the worst game they ever reviewed. Looks hilariously bad in the actual gameplay. They only put a certain amount of bullets in the game and ask you to kill so many zombies in each encounter... but thing is, given the amount of bullets it takes to kill a zombie, there aren't actually enough bullets in the game to complete all of the zombie challenges! 😂

Yes!! An Ocarina remake would sell like hotcakes, and once it's proven sales, a Majora's mask remake would be a shoe-in bc of the nature of its many shared assets.
Yea, currently Windwaker HD is my only huge regret left of not owning a WiiU. Seeing as how they brought most everything else major, I'm confident they will. The Starfox game is another missing game, but it never looked that good to me compared to the rest of the series.
I remember working Gamestop during the PS3, then Uncharted 1 release... hardly anyone knew about it then, and I remember hyping up the game, told everyone about the movie feel of it all. Not because I was trying to sell product, but bc I genuinely loved the game. I wanted more people to play it and help make it a success. So it's funny to see how much Uncharted and Naughty Dog have blown up as a whole since. I just remember getting hyped up about Uncharted from all of the previews, bc I w...
Because you don't want to be the only person having bear sex in the room.
I'd actually like to see a poll of The Last of Us 2 players who either paused the game or made them put the controller down! haha that was great to read your account of it too. Absolutely amazing that a game can make you feel so deeply.
The game certainly had issues. Mine wasn't the fact that you play as Abby.. it's the fact that you play as her for like 10 hours. It felt too long, bloated and I was ready to hate the game... but Ellie's final act completely ...
Yea, that Ellie, Abby fight in the theatre is crazy intense! I actually placed the controller down, had to decide if I really wanted to finish this, bc I really thought there was a possibility of Abby killing her with you in control!
And your UC2 analysis is very good, better than mine so kudos on that! It really was a game that you needed to experience back then at its time of release. Somebody playing for the first time today may not fully appreciate what it meant for the...
Crackdown 3 bc it has the power of the cloud!
@__Steakdeck__ very true.
And particularly part 2 had a strong emotional moment.. I felt gutted when I thought Elena was about to die, but ND played it safe in that regard and we felt relieved when she pulled through. Uncharted 4 had some great emotional beats too, that conflict between Nate and Elena. Going towards the end, many people thought Nate would die.. but again, they played it safe. What The Last of Us did was remove that safety. Definitely an evolution, and you c...
Ah, but VR gamers have the advantage of keeping 1 hand free, not needing to use a mouse for camera movement! 😂
@KrystofKage1 Actually "the" Century, being the 21st Century, only started Jan 1st, 2001. It doesn't say "a" Century, as far a a length of 100 years.
I acknowledge a mistake though that I made, thanks to @__Steakdeck__ below..
I accidentally read this as overall "Game of the Century" and not "Playstation Game of the Century". I own that mistake and apologize.
As stated below though, I'd ti...
Good point. I somehow glanced over the "Playstation Game of the Century" and read "Game of the Century", so I'll own that mistake. My bad!
With that said, I'd still have to give it a tie along with some other titles within the last 22 years. I can't crown it exclusively, but this is just my opinion. I can respect this view though as only the "Playstation" Game of the Century. :)
**Edit - I'd argue Uncharted 2 ...
@VenomUK, I just take that as publishers should just invest more in AA productions as an addition to AAA titles, not a complete replacement. AAA sells, but building new franchises to that point is hard. I felt that the very first Assassin's Creed game felt more like a AA title in its bland, repetitive gameplay... but the actual stealth mechanics and ability to climb any surface made the title stand out enough to help build the series into something greater. Those kind of new gameplay mech...
I'm not sure why anyone would play this flat. It's got PS2 era graphics, and many times an enjoyable game in VR is actually just a mediocre game flat. It's the immersion of VR that gives those titles the extra something. An example, Alvo or any of the popular FPS shooters in VR, such as Zero Calibur or Contractors. Completely ordinary, actually generic shooters if they were released flat. It's the VR that elevates these games to something more special.
They've already done it with Bethesda games and other company acquisitions.
My issue with it is that this wasn't earned. If customers overwhelmingly supported their games on XBox than Playstation, I wouldn't have as big of a problem with it. But they didn't. They had bigger sales numbers on Playstation worldwide, so it comes out as just buying off franchises that were doing better on Playstation just to gain a foothold. Ok, so it's being legally legitimi...
Which is funny, bc they were always primarily a software company first.
@Crows90 Of course they aim higher and have the budget to "try" and have as few bugs as possible... but there's no such thing as a completely bug-free game. It's the nature of coding. Spend any amount of time in game development and you'll quickly become aware of this. You can certainly minimize as much as you can, but you'll never reach completely bug free. Some are just harder to find than others, and some may go years without being found bc sometimes it takes pus...
Emilio_Estevez put in request for tag removal. Sorry, I was confused by that inclusion.
