I for one would like to see this on the PS3 as good games like this should be played by as many as possible.
The graphics in Fallout 3 are just so-so. By no means something that makes me go wow. I mean, right from the start when you are a baby the ball you can kick around casts no shadow and does not even show your reflection. Later during your G.O.A.T exam if you walk in front of the projector you also cast no shadow. This to me suggests the lighting model is pre-rendered.

Marvel to movie conversions have been good of late...except for Spider-Man 3.
The latest Hulk movie I thought was just as entertaining as Iron Man and 100 times better then The Hulk movie released a few years ago.

...graphics were fluid with a solid framerate but as per usual the environment is simply painted up to look like a city but its far from coming across as a living city populated by millions. Its too clean and pristine and everything looks kind of the same. Obviously that the was an artistic choice but as a result the environment comes across kind of sterile.
I'm still not sure the game is for me as nothing in the demo really hooked me in and convinced me I have to get this game...
...the only thing I can say is that I wish there were more on-screen enemies at any one time like in Resistance. Obviously its a trade off. You either have absolutely mind blowing visuals like in Killzone 2 but fewer enemies or solid visuals like in Resistance 2 and a screen full of enemies.

I mean, as he made them they changed to some in-game footage where the AI controller character stands up next to your gun as your firing. I dont think there would be too many people doing that unless they were ok with hearing loss or getting flash burns to their face.

...Lets get this out of the way. Graphics are not GeOW or Killzone calibre however, I doubt either one of those games will have as much going on on-screen at anyone time. There is simply a barrage of gunfire, explosions and enemies on screen!!! This is wall-to-wall action.
Competitive. Only had about 60 mins playing this mode. Although its fast paced if you are a COD4 junkie you may not like this. However, Halo 3 fans I dare say would feel quite at home.

The perception out there is that the PS3 is still an inferior gaming platform overall. This can only hurt Sony in terms of sales of both PS3 units and software sales of Fallout 3.

...then I would be getting back into gaming on the 360 in a big way. I know, $80 (NZD) is not all that much (well, to some its not all that much) but I have 3 kids plus my wife who all enjoy on-line play. Unfortunately MS still does not have a policy of paying per console for on-line play which basically means if I want 5 separate XBL enabled accounts on the same console its going to cost me $400 (NZD) per year. Unfortunately that's too much in my opinion.
