...the game mechanics are exactly the same as those from COD2. I had been hoping that the COD franchise over the years would favor a more realistic path than the complete run and gun path it has gone down.

that footage is plain terrible. Graphics in dire need of an overhaul and more kill shots by shooting players in the knee. Worst of all, from laying to crouching the gun remains perfectly still meaning you'll get people jumping on the spot whilst sniping and pulling off the perfect shot because the gun does not move when your looking down the barrel.

What the hell are they doing with sniper rifles on such small maps anyway.

...is still the king of the COD series for me. It raised the bar and took the biggest leap forward. The leap from COD4 to MW2 was a baby step compared to the lead from COD2 to COD4 (I'm not counting COD3 as that was not IW).

...an FPS break the mold of having a linear single player and do away with ivisible checkpoints and respawning enemies until you reach those checkpoints.

Yet to play a single player campaign where I feel like I'm actually taking on an enemy lead by anyone with any real intelligence or knowledge of military tactics.

but I hope they fix some of the apparent issues with collision detection. When the car passes through part of a falling building looked kinda glitchy.

And this is a real small thing but the scaling of some objects seems to be a bit off. E.g. when driving on the grass the grass is almost as big as the car. Again, really small thing but it distracts from what is otherwise a pretty crazy looking game.

...they took an idea, improved on it (yes, improved), marketed the hell out of it to create demand and its paying off. The games may not be the greatest but they look great visually and provide some brief family fun.

Makes you wonder why Sony did not do the same with the PS3Eye. Take a look at what was released for PS3Eye prior to the Move coming along...Eye of Judgement, EyePet and a couple of PSN titles. Not exactly setting the world on fire were they.

I wonder what ever happened to the original cam released for the 360...

... but not for controlling the game - not if they want something that offers a real driving challenge anyway. To me a great use for Kinect in a racing game would be use a physical controller to play but use kinect to build custom tracks or customise your car. Developers need to think outside the box when it comes to motion control games and offer up completly new and unique experiences.
