Forget disc format. They're slow, use more battery life and not all that portable. Give me a PSP2 with ample on board memory for storing games.
The thing I love about downloaded PSP games from PSN:
1. You always own them. Having kids you'll appreciate being able to download a game again over having to buy it again if the disc gets lost or damaged.
2. You can use them on up to 5 PSPs!
Why would you want a physical disc format for the PSP2?
..."The Dark Knight Rises" grabs me as a movie title. Sounds more like an episode from the cartoon or comic book but not quite fitting for a movie.
If it were a first gen 360 game then it would have been marked down in terms of visuals. You could maybe excuse the visuals if it were a Xbox Live game but not something that was a full priced retail game.
Are there some great looking Wii games. Yes. Do they compare to great looking 360 games. Nope. But I'm guessing Wii owners didn't buy into the Wii for the visuals.
MoH has all the trademarks of a game that was rushed for release. Still have no word on a patch either.
I really wish consoles would get decent lobby systems as well. Played Battlefield 2 on the PC over the weekend and was instantly reminded of what a lobby system should be. Keep the quick start options for consoles but also provide more advanced search techniques for those who want them.
...I use to have respect for her style of journalism but in recent years she's more about blowing her own trumpet when she's giving stuff away. She's not quite become the black equivallent of Jerry Springer but she's coming darn close.
...are pretty low in terms of those playing the PS3 version on-line. Don't think Ive seen it get above 20k players yet.
However, I wish they would patch the game. Sick of things like using the guided missile but then not being returned to FPS view or not spawning at the front line even though I'm selecting to.
...how crap the store update will be in NZ after seeing the one for the US. RDR update is only thing of interest, everything else does not appeal. Was hoping for Dead Nation.
...is actually really fun, especially team objective. The only issues I have with it is that its too easy to get a killstreak as it seems like every few seconds someone is calling in air support.
I wish they would also do something about camping snipers as well. But that applies to the COD franchise as well. Limit the number of snipers to 1, maybe 2 per team.
Those above two images looked dire. Since when did metal deform like melted plastic?
....have almost ruined MoH MP. Seems like sometimes that you can't go 10 seconds without an airstrike of some description. Typically camping snipers are the ones who benefit from killstreak perks as they watch from the back as their team loses...again.
...would be more going with the flow in terms of supporting them regardless of who owns them. Your words speak more of ignorance than anything else.
Fable was supposed to be the biggest thing since sliced bread, that is if the hype were to be believed. And yet the reviews seem to be getting worse, albeit ever more slightly, with each new entry in the franchise.
...to have a touch screen. Not so much for gaming but for any apps.
...this is what your Alien Breed reboot should have been like. Not that completely uninspired game that you did release. This game looks 100% fun!!!!
...2k11 or MAG and neither are what you'd consider AAA. Heavy Rain is a solid game but not sure I thought it was any better with Move or not. It's not that "must have" game either.
...a genuine AAA must have game that is best played with Move then sales will sky rocket. I myself already have two plus the nav controller. Challenging my son to table tennis has been worth the asking price alone.
...and disagree or not as it will mean nothing as DD is the future. 10 years ago people were saying the same thing about CDs. MP3 will never replace CDs and yet look at where we are today. PSN and LIVE also offer hundreds of games and movies via DD.
DD is here and now and although it may not be practical for all right now, there is no stopping it. For those that can't accept that fact then fine...but your kids will grow up not knowing anything but DD.
...be able to game on the go...anywhere on the go. Browsing will also be great but they need to update the browser.
I dont know about you but 3G has greater coverage than WiFi in my part of the world.
...but what if you game gets stolen, damaged or lost? If you want the game again you have to buy it again.
Also, why is downloading seen as such a problem. Most people order on-line and have to wait for items to be delivered anyway. PSN is (nearly) always open and you can buy when you like. Most PSP downloads take 10 minutes or so. Less time than going to a store and buying it.
