...as they offer games that are more than just shovelware then such a number is quite possible.

...should enjoy Kinect as they did EyeToy. I know my kids loved Eyetoy. However, you need to ask them again in a couple of months what they think. My kids stopped playing Eyetoy games as although they offered some immediate fun they did not have the depth to keep them fun/challenging for more than a couple of weeks.

I really hope MS comes out with something that knocks our socks off with the tech. Something that is AAA and is best played with Kinect.

...you need broadband for the download aspect for gaming on this type of device in the future. Satellite services stream HD content at the moment so I could certainly see potential for a hybrid device just like many sky decoders do now (albeit via dialup in NZ).

Today maybe...but the next generation may not. Just look at how the distribution model for music has changed in 10 years. The current generation buys most of their content via download.

However, the biggest driver in all this is that developers want to kill the second hand gaming market and pirating. This device could potentially do just that.

...however, the PSP has suffered from a lack of truly must have AAA games. Granted there are some killer games on the PSP but they are too few and far between.

If I'm to upgrade my Go to a PSP2 then Sony will need to convince me they will support that platform a damn site better than they do now.

...present them on a screen so they don't need to stretch them and make them look crap. Maybe have a 3D scroll and superimpose the cut scenes over the top of it if you get my meaning.

...Sony may have had EyeToy but what have they done with it on PS3 prior to Move? Apart from Eye of Judgement and a couple fo other forgettable PSN titles, the PS3Eye (i.e. the PS3 version of the Eyetoy cam) has been nothing but a dust collector.

If Sony is feeling envious (which I doubt) they would have no one but themselves to blame for not doing more with the tech they introduced.

...will likely provide a better arcade Rally experience than the rally component of GT5.

I really wish they addressed the bouncing off plastic barriers in GT5. Brings the game down when you know you'll bounce off the sides of the track and keep on driving.

...a good 15mil install base at the very least to ensure Sony and devs continue to support move. The EyeToy showed potential but never amounted to much more than a means for playing shovelware.

You wont keep seeing big budget games supporting move if it only has a small install base in comparison to how many PS3s are out there.

...I f**king hate the way the cars bounce off the plastic barriers on the sides of the track. I had really hoped they would have addressed that this time round. Its not a biggie as you should be trying to stay on the track but its been that way since GT back on the PS1.

...100 to 0.

It does raise an interesting question as to why this might be. If the install base is about the same why are not more PS3 owners showing their support for a good franchsie. Mind you, for me, I'm waiting for GT5.

...all over Alien Breed so just for that fact it warrants a minimum of 9/10. However, from the footage I have seen I can easily see this sitting along side brilliant PSN titles as Super Stardust HD, Flower, Wipeout HD and PixelJunk Monsters.

...to further enhance the Unreal engine.

However, I'm interested to see what can be achieved with integrating Kinect into a control scheme for a game like Gears. I'm all for a developer introducing something new that works or enhances what's already there. Maybe you use the controller for walking around but Kinect can be used to track gestures for hiding behind cover or picking up additional ammo, weapons, etc. Maybe Kinect could be used to perform a blocking...

I loved the lobby for Halo 3 as it provided most of the search options I was looking for. COD games, with the exception of COD3, only next to nothing. How in hell can anyone release what they would like to consider a hardcore game with a lobby system meant for casual gamers.

...$130NZ for a PS3 game that does not even come close to the quality of K2. I will pick up this game but not until I can get it at a much reduced price.
