Can some Playstation fan make up a VGChartz equivalent website that uses the exact same data, except skews the Playstation sales up a bit, and Xbox sales down a bit?
I think it would be hilarious.
Just pick a similar domain name. VG-Chartz or something.
This is all just speculation, but given these facts:
-Xbox doesn't sell well in Japan.
-PS4 is the fastest selling console right now worldwide.
-PS4 isn't selling like crazy in Japan.
Then I have no idea how Xbox One will survive in Japan.
You don't easily shrug off the horror of getting your head chainsawed off by some dude wearing a potato sack over his head.
Except in this case it's not that same war as back then. This time the architectures are more similar, so one platform is superior on every front compared to the other this time.
Curious if more companies might start going back to 3rd party exclusives like SNES/PS1 era.
But I thought that XOne and PS4 had somewhat similar architecture. Can they not just develop it on the PS4 and then just turn down the graphics so it at least runs on XOne? Just release it as is, most movie games aren't even optimized right?
Chess
Improved on the gameplay of the old ones.
Wow, turnaround at Square is pretty bad.
Feel exactly the same way.
It's how I feel about Total Annihilation relative to Supreme Commander and Planetary Annhilation.
I like your view. I would prefer a generation where the consoles compete by providing differences, and not compete using similarities.
I'd rather have 3 different fruits such as apples, oranges, and bananas than Red Delicious apples, Gala apples, and Granny smith apples.
Dragon's Dogma 2
Still have my thick box for Empire Earth somewhere at my parent's house.
Bethesda need some new QA team, but love their scale and ambition.
Games are just buggy as crap (because of said scale and ambition), and their animation is pretty terrible.
They can only get better though as tech increases.
More people to play multiplayer
I don't think cutscenes should ever be in 60fps, only gameplay.
Cutscenes in 30fps is a good parallel to movies being in 24fps.
It will be released as Final Fantasy XVI
I didn't complain when all my favourite movies got upgraded Blu-Ray releases (at a higher price).
They were options! Didn't know we hated options.
Polish and attention to detail is what I say this game has above all others. That in my eyes implies a lot of love from the developers.
A lot of people are just digging out dated articles, stating them as if they are recent, and riding the doom and gloom bandwagon for hits.
I know most people didn't like Asura's Wrath. But I would like it if they made a complete edition that includes all content and updates the gameplay. Never gonne happen though.
