This is the only downfall to reporting shipped numbers, because it doesn't include follow-through, it can freeze the numbers.
Once all stores receive their shipment and supply is ample, then shipments stop, and you can't use shipment numbers again until all the supply is sold-through to consumers.
And still lost in the end.
Are you going to bet money with people on this site? That would be interesting.
Wouldn't it be better to compare the predecessors' numbers corresponding to the age of the current gen consoles instead of lifetime vs present?
So much denial here.
Shipped is < or = Sold to Consumers
Therefore, If Shipped = 5 million,
Then, Sold to Consumers is < = 5 Million.
Love the picture
Darksiders 2 was okay, didn't have enough depth in combat.
Really sad that your gun never evolves in any way throughout the rest of the game.
Really appreciate it.
And most reviewers do start out as gamers. Unfortunately, some become sellouts.
To quote from Ratatouille: "In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. "
Looks like gamers have taken over E3.
It's written in the article near the end. The guy says that it's not up to them to release gameplay videos.
That's fairly easy, look at the PS3 version, imagine it in 60fps.
:)
Just saying, I don't think the disagrres you're getting are regarding 60fps over 1080p, as a lot of people here love 60fps.
It's probably because you said you wouldn't play TLOU.
I would say that the biggest factor is that the level of hardware, whether outdated or not, will continue to be supported for over 5 years and you will never have to worry about anything. You just get the games, pop them in (or install) and play them as they come out.
Finally.
This is going to change the framerate debates now because we will have easy access to visual comparisons.
Streaming is one of the options aside from downloading.
They are a Far Cry away from good times..
Their animations are usually stiff and awkward, but I hope they've improved for this game.
As long as you don't spread the negativity.
It'll be good for yourself to keep the expectations low, so you'll be more satisfied when it comes out.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if reviewers slam the game.
This is why I miss arcades. I'd like to see the kids talk smack to the bigger guys.
It got horrible last gen when gamers started comparing multiplats instead of playing their own games.
The original Xbox had games that looks completely superior to the PS2 versions in every way, and yet no one really cared or talked about it.
Last gen, blades of grass invoked the highest levels of boasting. And it just got worse. (Actually the gap between the last gen was so small, that it makes the gaps today look insane.)
