Souls games combat is very tactical. It plays very similarly to a fighting game where you have to understand range, recovery time, and distance from walls.
I don't see how you can miss attacks in Dogma without a lock on though. It's pretty easy to aim your attacks in that game. It plays just like Dynasty Warriors.
I don't ever remember Dogma being marketed as a Demon's Soul killer. It was in development when DMC4 finished (2008). I always saw it as Capcom finally giving us King of Dragon's with character creation! FINALLY! hahaha
Look at all the bosses in King of Dragons and Dungeons and Dragons. Most are there. Even the classes are the same.

Truth. Dogma had the patience aspect at the start of the game, and in Bitterblack Isle which had me strutting very carefully.
BBI was so fun. hahaha
I agree with both chaosx and GaveDev1.
The difference between videogames vs movie subscription is that videogames tend to be a lot longer than movies. TV series on the other hand...
People do like New Releases though, so I don't know what Sony is going to do about adding new content.
Surprised Children of the Atom and Mutant Apocalypse didn't make the list.
Love the PS4 as well.
Wish I could still have the folder sorting from PS3, and video/music playback from the PS3 as well.
Kind of strange when my old device can do the simple things that new one can't.
I like Dogma better, but Dogma was designed more like a 3D upgrade of Capcom's old Beat em Ups (King of Dragons, Dungeons & Dragons).
Souls is more about patience, where Dogma is more about action.
I see what you're saying now. This series does feel like they have an EA backroom treasure chest with a ton of ideas where they only add 1 extra thing each year, and save the other stuff for the following iteration. It sickens me that they just don't go all out with each iteration.
What's worse is how they seem to always manage to take steps backwards in areas for each entry. Such a dumb company.
And why is there no PR contact for the west?
To be honest, this game hasn't sold me yet either.
I get they're not trying to show too much, but I believe they could do a better job with the teasers. In a teaser, there should be no waiting for something to happen, it should be a sensory overload, emotinoally and visually.
Teasers/Trailers for games like Uncharted, God of War, etc. can get you hyped with only a 10 second clip.
How many minutes of footage have you seen of the game?
Co-op was what made games fun for me, because it was a way to team up with my brother against whatever enemy we were pitted against.
Contra, Turtles, Gradius, Battletoads, Double Dragon, Battletoads & Double Dragon, Jackal, Silk Worm, Commando, even Bubble Bobble!
We used to be able to play outside until dark. Now I feel like the internet has enabled all sorts of preds to induldge in fantasies that they try to recreate in reality.
I'm confused though about how it gets repetitive, the roster has 82 playable characters. And each character plays quite differently, with some very very unique characters.
Weapons are customizable where you can attach 6 abilities out of a large variety, and you also get to equip your own character with 4 skills, 3 bodyguards (any character even NPCs), and an animal partner (decent variety). So there's quite a lot to play with!
The AI still sucks,...
Maybe it'll be a combined genre adventure game like The Guardian Legend for the NES.
3D shmup (Stardust), Side-scrolling shmup (Resogun), 2D Platformer (Outland), and Overhead Adventure Game/Shooter (Dead Nation).
I sometmes don't understand developers' choices.
Insomniac and Guerilla particularly.
In each sequel, it's like they decided to take out things people enjoyed and replacd it with crappier mechanics. Makes no sense when they have official forums they read where fans express their likes and dislikes about the game.
Resistance 3 removes 6-player co-op from Resistance 2

Please make it like Resistance 2 Co-op!
Games with gold can't come to Xbox One yet.
The games haven't reached an age of 4 years old.
Maverick!
Desperado!
Mr. Lightning Bolt!
Then they'd remove Options mode because not enough people used it.
