Xbox 360 came out a year before the PS3.
Give someone a year headstart in a marathon and see if you can catch up.
For legal cases, there are situations where both parties end up hiring lawyers from the same firm. So the firm gets paid twice because both their lawyers are working against each other in the case.
If I were the lawyers, I would drag the case out to make more money for the company.
What a stupid system.
Are you one of those "U-S-A! U-S-A!" guys?
PS2 beat Gamecube and Xbox.
Saturn had a sick 2D processor though! They got murdered by Playstation still.
They both launched at crazy high prices given inflation.
Great story about doing what a dad's gotta do.
Kazuya was so lame in the Tekken movie. What did he use again? Hatchets or something? I've tried to erase it from my memory.
Lots of good games on that list, and those are all 30fps.
The latter ones were from last gen though. Which is where the standard suddenly dropped for framerate.
Which fighting, driving, and shooting games did you play at 30fps?
Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Marvel, SNK, Smash Bros, Virtua Fighter, Dead or Alive 60fps.
Gran Turismo, Forza, Ridge Racer, Daytona, Tokyo Xtreme, Mario Kart, F-Zero, Burnout, Twisted Metal Black, 60fps.
Timesplitters, Call of Duty, Metal Gear Solid 2, Sonic Adventure, NBA, NHL, 60fps.
Ninja Gaiden 2 and Black, Devil May Cry 1-4, God of War 1...
Play a shooter competively at 24fps and you'll know it's unacceptable almost instantly.
I agreed and I don't have a gaming PC.
30 fps looks stuttery. It's playable for sure, but it still feels slideshowey.
Wait for a PS5?
2 Generations ago we had top end graphics games running at 60fps. Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, Gran Turismo, God of War, Twisted Metal Black.
Last gen framerates got dumped. Example, the AAA Lords of Shadow 1 often ran below 30fps.
Now this generation, 60fps hopefully makes a comeback, because arcade games have been doing 60fps before most gamers were born.
So it can only be bought in select stores?
Doesn't that limit distribution?
You might need to retake your stats courses.
6000 of 350 million doesn't make the stats irrelevant at all. It's not about proportion if you have a sample size that can convey an accurate mean.
More importantly is the region, demographic, etc of the group surveyed.
Going from 60fps to 30fps is quite jarring initially. But after playing for 5 minutes of 30fps, you kind of get used to it.
I would still like it if there was a 60fps option.
We don't know if MS leaving gaming would suck or not.
Sega was a lot better than Microsoft and it was sad to see them go.
Would be nice to see new competition that can add to the industry the way Sony did when they first started.
Probably cares because real sales will indicate success, which will lead to more developers jumping on board => more games.
Where PS4 has exclusive "better performance."
That was amazing, and was a great extrapolation of the above. haha
There was no Xbox360 exclusive that looked better (and was technically more impressive)than TLoU or Uncharted, or Killzone.
