I am sure the character is interesting and well thought out, most mgs characters are well done. I am more referring to how reactionary and quick to judge the media is over these issues.
The Last of Us just made more money than the opening day of Man of Steel. That's a PS3 game that you can rent, sale used however you like, and the only drm is the online passes which hardly matter since most people just want to experience the sp for this game.
If anything, I think developers overestimate the importance of DRM. It's not about making the game hard to steal or hard to rent or sale, it's about creating an amazing game that people want to buy. This is ...
So a hot woman, who is strong, but never speaks. Oh man I don't think that's going to go over well for him.
In all seriousness, I would love a MGS game or spinoff that was specifically about The Boss. She was so badass, you want to talk about strong female characters, you need look no further than her.
But, but.... Minecraft is on Xbox One. That's an indie game right?
I think it's just a natural response and proves that you aren't a fanboy of one platform. Sony is saying and doing some good stuff right now and it is okay to like what they are saying.
This is almost like saying that they have no interest in allowing EA or Activision or any major game publisher to dictate their actions or gain too much power on their platform so they are seeking to bring in more indie developers so they aren't dependent upon one type of game type or company. That's a very good idea, if they where relying heavily on EA there is no way they could take the stance they did.
Yeah this is not going to turn out well for Microsoft. Even if the Bill goes no where, it's still going to draw a lot of negative attention to them.
Meaning that I get all the great elements of games on my PS4, without any of the stupid policies of the Xbox One. Thanks for making my PS4 purchase easier to commit too.
Sure they didn't, the same way Microsoft didn't have a scripted rape joke doing the Killer Instinct demo. Oh and for those of you not aware, it was reported by people there that this joke was in fact scripted and read off a teleprompter and later on Microsoft denied it and said it was just banter between employees.
Oh and a site called Xbox One Daily is hardly objective.
Molyneux makes a great point about the core audience getting smarter, if not quite in the way he meant. Microsoft tried to do something and the core audience saw through it immediately and wanted answers to questions.
No answers came and the core audience knew what that meant. It's sad because I think the idea of always connected isn't inherently a bad one, but if you are going to make that jump you can't bullshit the core audience. You have to have a plan that e...
Look at that, The Last of Us makes more money than Man of Steel and you can rent The Last of Us! Imagine that, maybe renting games isn't the problem at all.
After all their stupid statements I no longer buy 360 games that aren't exclusive to that platform and even then only few of those games. I am not willing to fuel a company that is trying to ruining the current state of gaming.
The poor marketing certainly hasn't helped. But even with good marketing it would have been an uphill battle. Microsoft is trying to completely change the landscape of gaming a lot sooner than it should happen and I am left wondering why?
The sad fact that Microsoft hasn't even done a slightly good job of explaining the benefits of their plan is a huge issue. Beyond that, they are trying to make this big transition and instead of being honest and open about the new ch...
The WiiU does need a price cut, but not now. The next-gen console aren't here yet and Pikimin 3 will boost WiiU sales. So I can see the WiiU getting a price cut around holiday times but not before August. I hope I am wrong on this and the price cut happens sooner.
They can leave the price as is and any sales up until that point is just found sales. Without compelling games or traditional core Nintendo games out, why would they cut the price? Sure they would move some unit...
Releasing a week before The Last of Us killed Remember Me.
Sony ain't messing around, PS+ is so damn good.
Sony has confirmed that not only do you not need PS+ to play F2P games online, you also don't need PS+ for their video services. They confirmed this and here it is in this Joystiq link. Had to search a bit but I found it for you.

Sony has already confirmed that F2P games don't require PS+ to play online. If the game is F2P then PS+ won't be an issue, if it isn't than thats Bethesda's decision.
The DRM thing on the Xbox One is what it is, I personally don't care for it but whatever. However, seeing CD Projekt RED on stage at Microsoft's E3 press conference just didn't seem okay. If these guys didn't really get on the anti-DRM train the way they do with PC I wouldn't mind so much. But they do tend to make a big deal out of this.
I don't know, the whole situation just seems a bit weird. Either way I am glad that Xbox One players that don't ...
Thats awesome, I thought this was an MMO to be honest, so it's really cool that their is an offline mode basically. Imagine that, having an offline mode.
