Can't wait to play this on the Vita, seems like the perfect game for a handheld console.
Just a shame it's not cross buy :(
ahhh that kinda sucks, hopefully the MP is fun and I also hope it doesn't take too long to reach level 60 lol
I hope you don't need online multiplayer trophies to get the platinum like it was in Uncharted.
Nothing will change, just like every other bit of maintenance they do on the PSN. No one should be surprised that they haven't been able to get it back online in time though, It happens pretty much every time they do it!
Gochild1020 well from what I remember most of the time they do these things they are never back online when they say they will be (here in the UK it may be different to you). All they do is keep pushing it back, first it was 4pm today, then 10pm, now to...
The reason more people cheat on Call of Duty is because of its popularity and competitive nature. I've probably played the Call of Duty franchise for around 300 hours in this generation, and I have NEVER seen a weapon exploit or anything that would indicate someone has hacked the game.
Look at Batttlefield 3, there are major bugs that have been here since the game released for example spawning without a weapon, sound muting (requires restart), game freezing resulting in l...
most games this gen are flawed. Developers are getting lazy, releasing buggy, unfinished games and relying on patches to fix them just so they can get the game out on time. It's only going to get worse in future generations too, sadly.
Well the difference between the violence in the last of us is it looks like it will have an emotional impact on the player when they kill someone.
Even watching the E3 demo made me feel a bit uncomfortable at the end when the guy pleads for his life only to be shot in the face by Joel. On top of that Elle was cowering in the corner of the room watching it happen which made it have even more of an impact IMO. The game wouldn't work without violence anyway as it wouldn'...
Motorstorm RC should be on there somewhere, it's the easiest platinum ever! Plus the game is really fun and it's only like £5 And you even get two platinum trophies if you have the PS3 version (which is free).
kupomogli, sorry I didn't mean that the Vita is not a good system. What I should have said is that I get annoyed that the same people who defend the Vita also bash the Wii-U, like what you're doing now really. When the Vita first came out it had a couple of good games, but most were disappointing and didn't live up to expectations (I have had a Vita since launch). What everyone should have learnt from the Vita is to not judge a system within its first month of release! And yet her...
I have a Vita and I love it. I find it stupid how people defend the Vita after 12 months and bash the WiiU after just 1...
As for the power thing, honestly did you really expect any more from Nintendo after the Wii? They have introduced a new way to play our games that works really well IMO. They know that Sony and MS will be going for powerful consoles next gen so why would they even try to compete with that. They will be better off using a less powerful, cheaper console and...
I was lucky enough to get one and so far I'm very happy with it. ZombiU is a really good demonstration of how to effectively use the second screen, most of the action happens on the TV and the second screen is used for checking your bag, scanning the environment etc. It really helps build the tension throughout the game.
I don't like how people are judging it already it has only just come out. People are still defending the Vita after nearly 12 months after its relea...
Well I have an old TV. It's full HD but doesn't have an optical port, only HDMI. And the headphones I have (tritton pro+) use optical ports too. I can't understand why Nintendo wouldn't put an optical port on it. Still not as bad as not having an ethernet port though. Having to rely on WiFi for a 5GB update is not fun!
I can't wait to do these things once the 11 hour update has finished!
Yeah I was surprised at how scary ZombiU was in few parts. Plus it does actually make it scarier that you have to keep looking at the second screen. I'm just disappointed I can't play the game using headphones/surround sound because the console doesn't have an optical port :(
As for 2013, I can't wait for Amnesia, the first one was incredible and so was the Penumbra series.
I agree that CoD can be fun and that's what makes people come back to it. But people didn't just start hating on it because "it got popular". CoD4 was amazing (and still is) because of things like map design, weapons and even it's campaign. Now they have just gone way over the top in order to try and please everyone. I would love for them to go back to 3 fixed killstreaks, more recoil on all weapons, simple map designs etc because they were the things that made CoD4 such...
Looks like it's a spec ops mode. At the beginning of the video it says "operations" at the top and also shows "leaderboards" icon as well as the players best times.
To be honest I would have preferred to see zombies as oppose to this spec ops stuff, I always thought that was a modern warfare thing anyway..
Got a set of these and I love them. Massive difference between this version and the previous Pro's in terms of sound and comfort. Only problem I've found is that the adjustments on the sides become really loose after a while. Still wouldn't change them for anything else though :)
I don't think it's that the core gaming market is shrinking. More like the casual gaming market is growing rapidly and is starting to overshadow everything else. Core gamers have nothing to worry about though, there are still lots of great developers making core games lol
Just got my copy from ShopTo. Looking forward to trying it out myself though just to see if it's as bad as the reviewers are saying it is. Will probably keep it for the multiplayer anyway as I'm getting bored of BF3 lol
Well the concept of playing video games without the need of a controller is something we will be seeing a lot of in the future IMO. Kinect just isn't advanced enough to be used in most games and certainly couldn't replace a controller. it's a step in the right direction though.
I like the idea of augmented reality and bringing games into our living room. Anything that make games more immersible is a plus for me.
