"I predict that tons of people are going to cancel their preorders after playing the Subway beta. "
TBH I can't see how anyone would want to cancel their pre order after playing a beta, especially for a game like Uncharted. I'd pay £40 for Uncharted 3 even if it didn't have a multiplayer mode at all! SP is gonna be incredible.
Thank god I just got a job!
So many good games =)
Yeah I think some things were exaggerated, such as the quote I posted above ^
Wish he would have recorded it =(
"PlayStation: No, sir, you send it to Microsoft. We support the PlayStation3 and PSP. Although I'd certainly encourage you to switch.
ZUG: But didn't you guys have a network problem for, like, a month? I heard something about that on the news.
PlayStation: We did, sir. But unlike Microsoft, we actually fixed it."
HAHAHA I don't believe the guy said that!
What would be the point in having two devices that are capable of the exact same thing anyway?
There are things that Move can do that Kinect can't. And in my mind that's a good thing. Both have innovative games and hopefully we'll see more in the future too.
lol speak for yourself. Perhaps it was only a disappointment to a lot of people because they hyped it up so much?
I'm still enjoying GT5 and I've had it since day one. Yes it only has 200 premium cars and a few minor graphical issues blah blah blah...but the gameplay and the amount of features it offers makes up for it's flaws IMO.
@MOTY that is absolute bullsh*t, everyone I know who owns GT5 has never been into previous GT games. People bought a...
It's got custom soundtracks by the way. Actually another thing they need to add is the ability to change the volume of custom soundtracks because they're really loud for some reason.
EVO Studios are really doing their best to please the fans, and hopefully they keep it up for a long time. MS:A is by far the best online multiplayer game I've ever played. It's fun even if you're in last place! that can't be said about most MP games lol.
You can play combat training offline though :S
Looks like IW are going back to what made CoD4 so amazing. making the maps simpler like the ones in CoD4 would be a massive advantage. Smaller maps = better spawn system and better chance of being spawned on the side of the map that your team mates are on. If you look at the maps on CoD4, most of them are relatively symmetrical and give each team one side of the map. With Black Ops and MW2 it seemed like they were trying to make the maps too realistic (more random) which messed up the spawn s...
I think everyone is suffering from this problem atm. I got the beta from UK store and it's happening to me too.
Connection has been fine for me and I usually have really bad lag on multiplayer games. Only problem I've had is the fact that it takes long to find a game, although that will be resolved over time :)
Overall I'm really happy with the beta.
I agree with you about the camera angle and speed. They've made gameplay a lot more fast paced than UC2, but I don't see the point of doing that AND slowing down the speed of the camera. When you go out into an open area it takes like 5 seconds just to check the area to see if any enemies are there!
It also seems like the camera is much closer to the character than in UC2 (even when not sprinting).
Still at least these are small things that ND should ...
lol same! Oh well I'm glad it's up as I'll be able to play it when I wake up tomorrow. :)
I said the same thing about KZ3 but everyone told me that the implementation of 3D has no effect on 2d graphics. tbh I'm also disappointed at what I'm seeing (only in terms of graphics). The gameplay looks great though.
As far as I know everyone who has PS Plus on the 28th will be able to download the beta. So that's everyone who had PSN before the outage as we were all given 1 month of Plus. Some people have said this isn't the case but I can't see how or why Sony would only give early access to people who were PS Plus members before the outage.
Also people who pre ordered Infamous 2 get early access on 28th.
The beta will be available for everyone on 5th July....
I don't know if they were as strong as they are with MW3, but I see what you mean. Plus, with the amount of great games coming out this year I feel like journalists need to be more tough on MW3 scores.
To be honest the score of MW3 wouldn't encourage me to buy it anyway, even if it got 10's across the board. I've put over 2 weeks of play time into previous CoD's so I'm seriously bored of the arcade gameplay and all of the problems that come with it.
Sports Champions and Start the Party.
I'm trying to platinum both. They're so fun!
There are plenty of games that have already surpassed Call of Duty in every aspect apart from sales, which isn't something gamers should be worrying about.
Obviously there will always be millions of people who will purchase CoD every year, but for people who want a bit of variety in their games (which is most hardcore gamers) CoD isn't even an option as there are other better games within the same genre.
As for the review scores for MW3, I don't see them ...
I agree, but I also think the story should be integrated into the gameplay rather than making the gamers watch hours of cutscenes (I find it hard to sit through a 10 minute cutscene when I just wanna get on with playing the game!)
