You're crazy if you think that KZ looks better than Crysis 3... On the other hand I really hope that CryEngine 3 becomes the next-gen engine of choice. Unreal is good, but the more games that use the engine, they started having a very similar look to them. It seems that this engine is more developer friendly to customize to ones needs, whether it be for a RPG, FPS or Action game. Omg this engine is amazing! How simplified he was adding vegetation was pretty cool to see in realtime...
Actually you are pretty wrong, seeing as how they are remaking the game and not just upconverting to HD. So they are creating new assests from the ground up to be used in new WW's visuals. To mention that they couldn't get away with a TP remake, I beg to differ. Even though that game came out with the Wii, it was one of the things that people were going nuts for when they saw it in the flesh. That's all the 2011 Zelda tech demo was, a mock up of TP!
That might be pushing it seeing as games like Watchdogs and Star Wars 1313 set that bar extremely high... The game looks good but most of all it should play great!
Nintendo could easily buy this IP and studio and roll them into Retro Studios. I was shocked to find that Retro only employs about 100 people and Platinum Games is twice that. So Vigil could boost up the manpower at Retro, plus they are already accustom to working with HD visuals. Now this is something fans should get together and do a petition for or even a kickstarter for, to get Vigil sold or to show that there's major interest in their future.
News sites such as GT, IGN, Magazines and journalist hate Nintendo Directs because it cuts them out of the picture completely. Only for them to be able to give their reaction opinion on what took place.(which even the YouTube community does a better job at now.) In the past, companies like Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft would have blocked off interview time with one of the major publications to get this kind of info out to the masses. Now they just use social media, without bothering with what ...
Boy the videogame communities are going down the tubes. The mentality of most gamers are so shallow and focused on mainstream aesthetics only. I guarantee that such a great game like Ni Nokuni won't sell because fanboys think it has cartoony graphics and no guns at all, so it must not be a hardcore game by those standards. Just sad really
I just hope that the reviews are good for this game... It is one of the titles that i'm really excited about early in 2013, but if the game sucks then I'll pass then.
I think Nintendo is going to do for the WiiU what they did on 3ds in 2011! Here's my prediction of software releases from Nintendo for the WiiU.

I think you are missing the point here! Its not that Nintendo just announced franchises that we all knew were coming eventually. But the fact that all of these games (minus the new Zelda) are confirmed to be playble at the show. Which is the exact opposite of what you just stated in fact and these games are further along in the process than one might think. Nintendo never shows game play footage or makes games playable unless they can deliver the overall intent of the software. Just look at h...
No game is browner than Gears of War! Lol
I don't think that fans would be angry as this game is now seen as a masterpiece in the Zelda archive of games. But it should be noted by Nintendo that the best selling Zelda games are TOoT and TP, which have the closest art style and design to each other by far in the Zelda series... A happy medium for the next Zelda would be great and a game like Trine 2 shows how a it can be dark and very vibrant at the same time. But I'm excited to play this game in the meanwhile though!
Funny that you say that because he/she has been absent since the latest Nintendo Direct aired... Lol
Be honest with yourself here. You were never interested in the WiiU or Nintendo games in the first place! Because you can't actually make us believe that this Nintendo Direct of all things was the thing that solidified your choosing not to get the system at all. That would be like me stating something crazy as, yeah I thought about getting a PS3 for Christmas, but when I heard Sony was making TLoU I changed my mind... Lol
Actually if Nintendo did pick this franchise up, it would be the perfect series to bestow on Retro Studios, since everyone is dying for them to make a Zelda game. This could be the closest thing we ever see to them actually making one anytime soon!
David Jaffe, now there's a name you don't hear to often anymore!
That was a great breakdown analysis. There was quite alot going on in the video and some stuff I missed, like the aerial attacks and the Mech name "Doll". I cant wait, this game is going to be really amazing. Now all we need is to find out what Retro and Mistwalker are working on and the hype train will be in full effect.
Well since PS gets new games announced every week you guys can stop plastering the same 4 games coming in every thread! TLOU, Beyond, GoW, and Ni NoKuni. I've stated before that I have no clue why Sony fanboys proclaim these games in every post they make. But sales of Sony's 1st party exclusives vs 3rd party buggy games aren't even close in sales comparison. A game like Uncharted should sell like Halo does on the 360 if you guys really put your money where your mouth is...
I agree this game even gives Mario Kart a run for its money and I'm a huge fan of the MK series! One of the better franchise games that Sega has done in quite some time to be honest...
When Sony and Microsoft can say they've been in the gaming industry for 20 & 30yrs, then you can come back and make this statement. Otherwise its pointless! It wasn't until late into the PS2's life cycle that Sony got serious about first party IP's. People act as if Sony always had this interest in creating new IP's. They just started this Gen and it was primarily because they were getting shafted over the Xbox360 3rd party games. Sony had 3rd party exclusives on lock ...
WiiU isn't selling because it needs the right types of exclusive games to push people's interest in it. Has nothing to with if fanboys think its next-gen or not! Fact is if the ps4 or 720 don't have must have titles at launch they wont be selling on next-gen merits alone either... 3DS was proof of that, Vita is proof of that and the WiiU is proof of that!
