The sad thing about your list is how many of those games are brand new games? If I could get any of those games on WiiU, I would only want Darksouls, Witcher 3, Batman AK, MGS5 and Star Wars Battle Front. The rest I could do without! It's not always a quantity thing either because for all of those games listed, Nintendo will still have one of the biggest games releasing this holiday season.

I think the whole pay for play between Microsoft and Sony is the reason for the 3rd party decline on Nintendo platforms. Nintendo isn't willing to buy exclusive dlc or early release windows from 3rd parties. The GC did pretty well on the amount of 3rd party games that it received. Nintendo would only need to put out close to a 3 teraflop machine to stay relevant to both Sony and Microsoft's next offerings. This is why to me Nintendo needs to adopt SteamOS ASAP in time for the next console. 3rd party games like Shadow of Mordor and Batman AK could essentially be on a Nintendo platform and the sales of such games would be thrown into a collective pot for sales data. Just how iOS games are reported under one grouping, this is the only strategy going forward that I see for Nintendo because they don't plan on paying for 3rd party games like Sony or Microsoft.

Not agreeing with this article at all, but I do think that it would be a great idea for Nintendo to utilize Steamos as a dual booting OS for their next console. SteamOS would give Nintendo more access to 3rd party games that currently aren't coming to their systems. I hope something like this comes true in the near future. Not to mention that the Fusion or whatever it will be called could be one of the cheapest entries to steam gaming.
Yeah you're not going to get to many people to agree with you, but I do! What's funny is that most people that buy a PS4 say they did so because it has the best 3rd party games. The average person who has a console for gaming has a PC! Even if it's a middle of the road PC, it has a much better cpu in it tHan any of the consoles currently have. So yes it would still be cheaper to just buy a graphics card and buy games through Steam.
Some of you guys try way to hard, because for every game that you love on Playstation or Xbox. How many of these developers that create these games will tell you that they love Zelda, Mario or Metroid. Most of them are still chasing that formula that Nintendo captures in their games.
