I played it smart and bought my console 2 years after the first 360's were released. Mine is a model PS398004. Is that a good one? I haven't really had problems with it. I've heard MANY others haven't either. Let me know if I got a good one, I'm just a dummy who doesn't know gaming...

Stop posting these under PS3 news. They are clearly stories meant for 360 fanboys to help them feel better, and think they have the superior console. Just because the PS3 isn't highest in sales doesn't mean that it is not the best console. I don't need someone to tell me the PS3 has the highest numbers in order for me to know that I have the best console.

Why are so many of you analysts? Is it really that important for people to think you will guess the right release date, or did a whole bunch of statisticians and analysts recently become gamers? "People don't believe me that it'll be in 2010, but I keep telling them." I totally agree. I'm so sick and tired of this crap. I got the PS3 in hopes that it would stay the same forever. Why would I want it to change? If companies keep this crap up, other companies are going to start improving things for free and we can't have that. Well the new photo album is pretty nifty. Not perfect, but well done. My only complaint is the age recognition. You are able to sort the photos by age...and it did a horrible job of this, lol. I was wondering how they would pull that off...turns out they didn't.

Well...don't expect to use the Photo Galler that soon after the update. I had to download and install the software...and right now it's sitting at 43 minutes after about 15 minutes. I don't know if it's downloading something, or if all installs will take an hour but be prepared to wait a bit. Not complaining, just warning you guys.

I just did a manual System Update check and it's installing the new firmware now. I've noticed this happens alot. Usually the day before release if you force the system to do an update the firmware is ready to download.

My rewards accounts shows this game is $60 minus the discount. I'll stop by my Best Buy and see if they ARE selling for $40 but I doubt they'd sell if for $10.
