I guess I didn't even realize that DLC was released other than online. I don't have an Xbox 360, so I've never really looked in the 360 section at my local stores and seen these DLC discs. Nintendo did them the favor of blowing them off so that they would invest in their own console. While it wasn't Nintendo's intention, I certainly thankful for them doing it.
You're reading into the title too much. It says Sony saved their ass. Technically they did, even if they didn't physically show up in court to defend Nintendo. The title doesn't imply that Sony had jumped in to help, but that Nintendo won because of Sony.
Since Nintendo is the reason that Sony got into the console game in the first place after they bailed on Sony, it's only fair for Sony to have helped bail them out a little.
Burnout Paradise is pretty easy to get. It was the first one I got. ACII is pretty easy too. I had 92% when I finished it. I think all I was missing was the feathers and one for throwing sand in 5 guard's faces.
I guess from what I understood, IW had no rights to royalties because they were employees of Activision. Is this not the case? If they were never told they were getting royalties, and then one day they decided they wanted royalties, what is their arguement? Like I said, maybe I had bad info about this...
I'm sure that these guys HAVE to get into a frame of mind much different that normal people do. Whether they mean what they say or not, it's not easy going out every day knowing someone is looking to kill you. I'm sure most of these guys enter the battlefield terrified, and force themselves into this "Yea, let's kill the bad guys' mentality to keep themselves sane and push out the fear that they could very well die today.
...so you see two Apache's shoot down about 8 guys. Those two Apache's continue to circle the area. The guys in the van, which has children in it, decide they're just going to mosey on down there and start cleaning up? I mean, they didn't even try to wave down the choppers with a white flag to indicate they meant no harm. I have no idea if the guys that were originally shot down were innocents or not, but that was just idiotic driving into the middle of that with two kids in the front sea...

Are you still stuck in 2007? 360 games were cheaper back when dev's were still a little confused about how the PS3 worked, and more or less ported games over to the PS3. Now that they're getting the hang of it, they're finding it a very resourceful console. Also, the had to build the engine from the ground up for the 360, so I couldn't imagine it cut their costs down by adding the 360. In the end it will probably pay off though if they sell enough on the 360 to pay for the dev of the 360 ...
"According to Sony fanboys it was going to be 70%." I read an article a few weeks ago that predicted the 360 outselling the PS3 2 to 1, so both sides do it.
