The only thing I worry about is COULD this and the DLC I bought have been part of the original ACII game? I'm constantly paranoid that devs are witholding stuff to sell at a later date. I will most likely buy Brotherhood, as I bought the PS3, but I do get concerned.

Infamous, Killzone 2, LBP, GOWIII, Uncharted 1 & 2, Heavy Rain, Resistance 1 & 2, and Heavenly Sword all say hi. And those are just the games that I personally loved. There are many others That didn't interest me, but could easily interest someone with different tastes.
Also the PS3 does play the Multiplatform games in case you didn't notice. Not to mention most devs are switching to the PS3 as the lead platform, so the whole "multiplats are better on ...
In game music and game invites have been done in PS3 games, so I don't see how these are patented. The lack of these features are because the devs don't implement them because Sony doesn't force it. They should in my opinion. A firmware update also added the ability to do in game screenshots, but yet again devs don't use it.
In game music is up to the dev. They just need to make it a requirement.
This is essentially a "new" DS console, so I don't know why PSP fans would be upset about this. It would be like saying the new Xbox console has better graphics than the PS3. Yea, if it's next gen it will. We'll see how things are when the PSP2 comes out. I don't know how they'll compare, but I've heard rumors that the PSP2 will be using a 4 core version of the cell processor, so I'm guessing it'll be a beast of its own.

I think they were working on it before they finished ACII, but didn't have room for it. I read an interview where they talked about how they wanted to make Rome bigger in the final game, but didn't have room for it so they decided to release it separately. Someone must have decided they could add multiplayer and release it as it's own entity instead of DLC though.

I know, so far I've turned my PS3 on twice now to see a message telling me that a game was updated. I was like "Well thank you PS3."
I didn't know about the aMAZEd trophy until my Titan playthrough. That was frustrating on Titan until I realized that the game auto saves at the beginning of the spike room. Otherwise GOWIII was my 2nd platinum and quite pleasant to get.
