...is disgustingly prejudice and I'm not even an American. You think that complaining is a stereotype? You've NEVER complained about anything in your life then I guess, because you aren't an American? I'd rather have an entire planet full of any kinds of fanboys than people like you.
Your example is pathetic. First of all, there are NO comments in the gamer zone at all, all of them are in the Open Zone (i.e. fanboy zone) and the first comment is from probably the biggest 360 fanboy on this site. Did YOU read the comments?
They could have saved themselves a lot of headaches if they would, you know, LISTEN!! The fans would have told them if they thought it was a good idea or not, but SE are notorious for thinking that they know what's best for the users. This proves that they don't. Sometimes the old adage of "if it's not broken, don't fix it" is correct.
is Enchanted Arms with better graphics and no towns. It's playable, but not epic the way FF should be. And it's because SE Westernized it. That killed it. A sequel won't do any good. Besides, FFVSXIII is already being made, so we don't need FFXIII-2.
Here's an article from 1997 that talks about what they did for the game.
http://findarticles.com/p/a...
"In December 1996, Sony Computer Entertainment America agreed to a multi-title publishing deal with Square Co. Ltd., allowing the company full North American publishing and distribution rights to Square's 1997 PlayStation product line. Along with rights to publish...
"...they could call it Final Fantasy13vs:the lost content."
LMAO!! It's funny cuz it's true. Hahahaha. Bubbles for the laugh. :)
then why are you here? obviously console gaming is beneath you in every way, so why own any (you claim you do) and why post here?
no one here cares about the PC but you. and there is a section titled PC. so why aren't you there?
OT: We all already know the PS3 version is the superior version, this is just beating a dead horse. The 360 is bringing down the PS3 versions scores everywhere, but thankfully there isn't a game called "Scoreplay" where you literally play the scores. Microsoft really is like the viruses that plague their OS it seems.
So it's your contention then that 360 fans appreciate or would appreciate FFXIII even though every other JRPG on that console flopped commercially except MAYBE Lost Odyssey? That PS3 fans, who were likely PS1 and PS2 owners previous and used to FF the way it has been on that family of consoles, wouldn't appreciate a game they likely bought their PS3 just for? Is that what you're trying to say?
@Hakimy: Bubbles for your post. That was awesome. Now just imagine Bill Gates with that laugh. lol. You should check out the ones I post. lol.
Next. I find it hilarious that Wada tries to pass it off as "Microsoft asked us to do it, so we did." Yeah, they "asked" for it, with a large check.
Finally, to all you sarcastic people like Idle, and feelintheflow, what you fail to remember is WHO these people get their money from. You don't make money by ...
wow, a picture of a pc setup beside a 360 and a PS3. yeah, that's convincing. /s
i stand by my statement. and in the chance that that really is your setup, you're still not getting GoWIII, and are still an elitist for a very boring platform, so everything else i said still stands.
I see you in a lot of sections, injecting your PC elitist attitude into every conversation, or complaining about some console game. And I finally figured out why. PC's a BOOOOOORRRRRRIIIIIIINNNNNNNNGG platform. So you're a little jaded with that, and I sympathize. But since you're not getting GoWIII (because I doubt you have a PS3 considering "teh PC iz teh bestorz"), how about you keep your broken record statements to yourself and allow people who like the game, like the genre, and...
...and yet the 360 doesn't have a hard drive as standard. So, how is it going to work when a large amount of their user base CAN'T participate in their "digital distribution revolution"?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The JRPG format is fine, especially in the fickle area of video gaming tastes where one bad game can ruin any hopes of a sequel. Trust me when I say that the minority (i.e. people like you) that want the games to change are eclipsed by the majority that love that JRPG's, for the most part, stick to what they do best. We don't need the FPS genre forcing it's way into every other genre. It's overplayed, stale, and old in ways that a repetitive story plot of some...
between 5 and 6pm EST and it has been out since. And for those saying it still works in Canada, I'm in Toronto and mine is out.
"Aside from easily being proven as altered, and this method not being one we use"
So she basically just said they don't use photoshop to alter the shots. No denial that the shots were altered either.
"No, we don't use photoshop to alter the shots, we have our own custom built software for that."
@inveni0: Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank, Heavy Rain, and soon to be GoW 3 and GT5 say hello and say "since ...
That's the thing though, there isn't just ONE isolated event. Publishers bribe all the damn time, and scores are bought all the damn time. And why bring up a PUBLIC event when you know for damn sure no one is going to admit at one of those things that they are being bought off. They would lose the check and their credibility. No, these things are done like how Microsoft sent a duffle bag full of Halo 3 merchandise to damn near every reviewer they could think of, or how EA sent actual cheques ...
Dark Cloud 3. Pure and simple. Either that, or Rogue Galaxy 2.
Rare? You think this stuff is rare? You must be living on Mars, with your eyes shut, and your fingers covering your ears. Do you remember what happened with Halo 3? How Microsoft sent out nearly $1000 of merchandise to even smaller reviewers as a "promotion" for the game? You think this stuff is rare? It happens ALL THE TIME!!
EA, Turn 10, Microsoft, hell even SE has done it too.
If you really think this has only happened like twice, find out why Gertsmann ...
I'm NorthernDragon on that article, and he hasn't replied to either post that I've made. Though clearly everyone can see how I used actual logic to his detriment.
