I love the AC series, I'm definitely picking this one up.
Because Keoff Geighley isn't a pseudo-journalist who sucked on Electric Playground and Kevin Butler looks like a piece of pizza. LOL.
Greenburg can say anything he wants, I don't really care because he's paid to talk up the 360. I'm simply pointing out that you're wrong. And yes, the U.S. isn't the biggest gaming market. Again, more people in Europe.

Agreed.
Dead, North America isn't the biggest market, Europe is. Greater total landmass and larger population means a bigger potential market. Also, Greenburg doesn't have a strategy, he just spouts MS propaganda (a lot of which end up being false claims "FFXIII will sell better on the 360"). That's not a strategy, that's a blowhard.
I REALLY hope that it's not that, or Zone of the Enders 3. My guess is Contra. When's the last time a Contra game was out? ZoE 3 and Suikoden VI would fail on the 360 as exclusives.
It took 8 comments before Shenmue came up. I was just about to go "In before the onslaught of Shenmue requests" but this is decidedly tamer than I thought it would be.
Is a console version of the DS New Super Mario Bros. It is incredibly family oriented, already well established both because of the iconic name of Mario and because, as I said, it's a console version of an already successful game. Your examples are lame.
Clearly you're a young'un or you'd understand that Ken is almost singlehandedly responsible for making gaming mainstream. While Nintendo was around, gaming was niche, Ken's vision brought gaming into a new light. Comparing him to Steve Jobs is beyond insulting and shows your ignorance.
The Genesis is nowhere near the level of the PS1 in terms of bringing gaming into the mainstream presence in entertainment. The Genesis was still a console considered to be childish, the PS1 was a console that made gaming move from having the stigma of being a children's toy to being something everyone can enjoy.
He's not talking about dressing the fat lady up, he's saying SE botched the liposuction meant to help her fit in the car.
"Nabari No Not-Worth-My-Time"
Bubbles for the Lulz.
Stop making an ass out of u and me. I'm not European, I'm Canadian. And I say American Journalism FTL because only journalists from the U.S. would say that PSN would have a Natal-like game. Anywhere else in the world would have said "PSN to get new PSEye game" or something like that. You know, considering that the PSEye has been doing "Natal-like" games for years now. DMY dude, you're too patriotic. Living in Canada, I know everything I need to know about the g...
EyeToy/PSEye had games like this before Natal was even thought of. *sigh* American journalism FTL.
Is what I call just another game. What is your example supposed to entail? Does it disprove that the Wii is marketed to be family friendly? Or that that's the image Nintendo WANTS to portray? Or that the PS3 and 360 have more success with core games than the Wii or DS? No? Thought not. And this is what developers look at. The Wii is not a console geared towards core gaming. It's a simple fact. You can argue with it all you want, it won't change anything.
"Bewbs"
You Nintendo fans can grumble all you want to but there are a few facts you're choosing to ignore.
Nintendo's image is decidedly and purposely family oriented. The Wii is owned predominantly by casual gamers, and the DS is marketed and priced for the casual market as well. Core games are few and far between on the Wii, and are dumbed down on the DS in comparison to console counterparts. Also, core games don't sell in the same volume as "family friendly" ...
I couldn't agree more with what you said even if you added "and pizza is awesome". Bubbles for pure truth.
What do you find hilarious? Is it that Pope believes that Crytek would do that just to prove a point? Or is it that part where "the game will look good even on the weakest consoles"? Because that part is true, the 360 is the weaker of the two consoles. But the other part, I'm not really sure about so I can't comment on it.
