You're not correct. SE wants to release both at the same time. And besides, the 360's version was rushed through development, whereas the PS3 has had development time since the beginning. Plus, the PS3 version is going to be on a more stable, and better performing console, namely the PS3. Face it, you can argue it all you want, but the PS3 version is superior. And you know it is, you just want attention, to go against the grain. Well that's all fine if you don't have a life and want to waste ...
The fact that the PS3 version will have lossless audio automatically makes it superior. The 360 can't have lossless audio. Anything else you have to say it rendered null and void by that simple fact. So you can try and tout the 360 using your lame devil's advocate approach that no one believes, or you can accept the fact that the PS3 version is superior and just move on. I know however that you will choose the former instead of the latter.
This is the same site that needs fanboys to keep it afloat. Otherwise they wouldn't need to create articles with flamebait titles like "Why does Uncharted 2 need to be so.... lame?" You know what I hate most of all about reviewers such as the ones that populate sites like that? The kind of sense of entitlement, the idea that they can somehow do better. Well if you can do better than the developers, then why don't you open a game development studio and beat them at their own game the...
Which is ridiculous.
Awesome comment. Bubbles for that. It made me lol. And I love your name too. McRad. haha.
Considering the strategic and very purposeful timing of Microsoft's bannings, I'd say that it's a possibility. Though it won't be because the 360 is a quality console, it'll be because those used to gaming on it want to continue, and to do so they have to by a new one if they were banned.
See, when people buy a second PS3, it's because they WANT to, not because they were forced to due to being banned for a fan mod.
This guy could afford a PS3, and a 360, and a Wii, but can't afford the $100 or so dollars to get his 360 repaired, or buy a new one, and he can't afford to buy Super Mario Galaxy? If ever there was an epic fail, this is it.
Why the hell haven't the mods banned you yet?
Your sarcasm is painful. You're way too naive to use it. Piracy is wrong, yes, but the developers are NOT being aided in these bannings. Do you think that Microsoft will share the profit they make from newly bought 360's with Activision/IW, Bungie, etc...? OF COURSE NOT!!! So let me ask you, how is this helping the developers who have already fallen victim to piracy?
See, you're not getting it. The pirates are "stealing" money from game publishers, not from Xbox Live. Microsoft is getting all the profits back when they buy new consoles, and the publishers still end up losing money. Also, you want people who modded their xbox so it runs better (fan mod) or has more space (hdd mod) to be banned too? Even if they are PAYING for games? Because Microsoft banned those people too. In the end, the only winner here is Microsoft. Not the games industry be...
yes, you violate the WARRANTY terms, hence you don't get free repairs. BUT the car dealership can't prevent you from using a specific feature of your car just because you modified it. you don't see them ripping the tires off and locking the wheels so that you can't put new ones on.
fighting piracy is one thing, banning people for IMPROVING a console that YOU built with a faulty design is quite another. and people are being banned for frickin' fan mods. microsoft is telling you th...
Oh please. You're such a naive fanboy. You're continuing to provide a defense, justification, for Microsoft banning people who don't deserve to be banned. "Teh User Agreement, teh AGREEMENT!!!"
If this was just about pirates, Microsoft wouldn't ban people they knew weren't pirating games, and they wouldn't wait for the same time every single year to ban them. This is about money. How much they can make at the perfect time to make it. Which is the holiday rush.
<...
Obviously the two of you are completely blinded with your very green goggles. Microsoft ban consoles the same time every year, true, but FOR A REASON!! Holidays. That's right, the holiday season is right around the corner, and what better time to force people into buying a new console. I seriously can't believe the depth of naivety some of you people exhibit. You actually think that a big business corporation like microsoft does this JUST to stop piracy. *sigh*
add in the post th...
Yes, it's really wrong to make your console work better than how you bought it by modding the fan or the HDD. When will people learn that faulty hardware is the right way? /sarcasm
I must be missing something. Why is everyone copying that guy?
"Dur hurr hurr, I can copee teh last post."
EDIT: I'm missing something. Everyone seems to be doing that.
It's just Sony's turn to copy something the 360 did. The both of them are just playing catch up with each other. What would be REALLY good is if Sony would be proactive instead of reactive. Implement a feature that the 360 DOESN'T have, think about the future and implement new features the 360 isn't going for but that people would love. This "Oh the 360 has netflix so the PS3 should too" or "FACEBOOK FOR TEH XMB IZ TEH PWNZORS, COMPETISHUN FTW!!!" is lame.
Speaking as a PS3 owner and fan, I implore the other PS3 fans to NOT be hypocrites and say this is a great addition to the XMB after saying it's a useless feature and ragging on XBL for it. The XMB doesn't NEED Facebook, it's a useless feature especially since the PS3 has a web browser. This feature is a waste of time and money. And you all know it's true, so don't pretend that now that Sony has it on the XMB that it's suddenly a great feature.
Is a luncheon meat. Hence it has no place on a video game website. Just like your post.
Yeah, MS is the reason there are no installs despite the fact that there are MANY other multiplat games where there are. *sigh* some people...
