We are so used to getting new and exciting hardware every 5 years that we've hit a lull. Technically we should have gotten the next Xbox in 2010 or 2011 at the latest.

I agree 100%. I've never seen a generation of gamers that felt so entitled. Every single generation has had games that weren't up to par or that let us down in one way or another, but we never saw the amount of complaining until now.
Literally every single game released will have something people complain about.

That is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. I put 120+ hours into Skyrim and that game was less than 5 gigs.

Sony is in the wrong, this isn't a big deal. Kevin Butler wasn't Santa Claus, people know he's an actor. I mean I saw him on the old show "Til Death" with the guy from Everybody Loves Raymond. Are they going to sue him for that as well?
This is just craziness on Sony's part. With all the problems they've had recently, do they really need to sully their name and become synonymous with greed now as well?
The Gunstringer, Fruit Ninja, Kinect Sports, Happ Action Theater, Sesame Street, Disneyland Adventures and Kinectimals all have solid ratings. Probably some more that I'm forgetting as well.
Sometimes its fun just to play something different, doesn't matter what the reviews say. I'm loving Resident Evil 6 right now, but it was panned by critics.
Seems greedy and wrong for Sony to sue an actor just because he got an acting job in a commercial and he's seen with a Wii.
I think you need to pick and choose your battles, but Sony is clearly in the wrong here.
The Xbox 360 Blu Ray rumor would have never worked. They would have had to put out two separate games, one on DVD and one on Blu Ray. That would have been a confusing mess, also when you consider that less than 20 games in the whole Xbox 360 library require more than a single disk, its not something needed this gen.
Shenmue 3 was never more than a rumor.
I've had a PS3 since 2007, got me a nice fat PS3, back when it was worth it to buy one because they had backwards compatibility. Nice to see you get a new account, but with the way your trolling already, how long will this one last ya?

It should do well for sure, they've done a great job at getting market share this generation. The only trouble they will have with being top dog, which I assume means selling the most, would be the Wii U getting such a long jump on Microsoft.
Microsoft and Sony could very well be 10-12 million consoles behind by the time they launch their respective consoles for next gen.

Rare were the ones who went the direction they went with Nuts And Bolts. It was risky, but so many people these days ask for changes to games, so I'm not surprised they went with a new direction.
As for Conker, they released Conker at the end of the original Xbox life cycle (2005) It was right around the time as the Xbox 360 was slated to launch, so it obviously sold terribly.

I have to disagree, I thought Halo Reach was the best Halo to date, certainly the single player, which was heartfelt and amazing. I thought they took too many risks with the multiplayer, but it was still a solid effort.

343i is strictly a Halo developer, that is why so many talented developers joined them in the first place. If you look at some of the people who are on that team, they are an all star dev team.
