He had a lot of control over what to do at Epic Games, it wasn't about stagnation or anything like that, he was working on a totally new IP (Fortnite).
Cliff just got married, could have a kid on the way, has been part of Epic Games for 20 years, he could just want a small break to enjoy his life for a bit.
I highly doubt he'll stay gone long, might even end up working for Microsoft at some point and time.
They aren't even working on it, the Xbox 720 is probably coming out next November. I'd hope they would take more than a year to create the game.
That engine needs an update and there would have to be a ton of changes to the game, especially since L4D and L4D2 were released to close to each other and didn't really change much.
Honestly if their were a movie, hopefully they'd go with the male Shep. Since obviously it wouldn't be rated R and thus there would be no lesbian love anyway. It probably comes off as sexist, but I played as a male Shep and I would like to see a Commander in the vein that I played the game as.
Christ, not this again.
Seriously, why do people care what others are spending their own hard earned money on? If you are happy with what your spending it on, good for you.
These types of articles get hits and heat because Sony fans, who don't have Xbox 360's or XBL like to tell us real Xbox 360 owners why paying for online is bad or wrong. I don't mind paying for a premium service in the least, I've been an Xbox Live subscriber for almost 8...
He could be right, back when the Sega Dreamcast launched, Sega knew it didn't have the tech to compete with the forthcoming PlayStation 2, but they felt like by having a built in modem that they would draw in the crowd that likes to play online.
The problem is that Sega thought that a little bit too soon, but when Microsoft came out with Xbox Live in 2002, it was a hit because the internet had caught up to the idea.
Nintendo obviously understands that yo...
There are 4 comments removed for trolling. I agree that it is apples to oranges because Forza is the top racing sim of this generation hands down, in my opinion of course. Plus the fact that Turn 10 has managed to put out such high quality racing games in such a short amount of time.
I think jealousy plays a part as well, I mean they took forever with GT5, it wasn't really well received and they lacked premium cars, I mean when your importing cars from the PS2 games to fi...
Your another one of those people who spout Sony PR and end up with 4 bubbles....
Anyway, 4K televisions aren't going to be cheap. The one Sony showed off earlier this year was 25k. I'm not sure there is even a market for a television like that. Also, your assuming that the competition wont offer the same resolution, which could be a mistake.
4K would be nice to brag about, but its not really something practical or that a lot of people will yearn for ...
Sadly Season Passes are the wave of the future, call it "Premium" or "Elite" or a "Season Pass", its really all the same thing. Unless its something essential I probably wont buy it.
I do have COD Elite and I bought the Forza 4 and Gears 3 Season Passes, but I have gotten a ton of content for a fraction of the cost.
I guess it all depends on whats inside.
Seems like every Forza article is overrun with trolls, not sure why people cant just let others enjoy what they want. They feel the need to harass others simply because they are insecure about the games they like in comparison.
Glad to see this game is getting so much positive reaction, makes me feel better about dropping the money for the Collectors Edition.
Microsoft has a busy couple of months with Forza Horizon, Fable The Journey and Halo 4 releasing.
Must be burning off the stock, I guess Sony is entitled to put out something that flops every now and again like everyone else.
Not falling for that again!
What a trolling thing to say, but considering Halo 4 is releasing in about a month, Forza Horizon and Fable The Journey are dropping this month, an incredible lineup of Xbox Live Arcade titles and a ton of new features for the dash, I'd say this is some non news.
On the other hand.....one company has the Wonderbook......Yet every article for PS3 gets super heat around here...even the PSN store....
I write "Hax?" as a joke, its clearly a joke. I'm not ignorant nor stupid. I also take the time out to check if I can actually still connect or not.
There is a huge difference between that, and flat out ignoring the actual article and trying to rub something in.
I get why you follow around my posts, but trolling me on this account if just going to get you banned like your other account.
Ya, I played the originals back when they originally came out. You either move forward or risk getting repetitive. Those games were scary at first, but after a while, you knew what was coming.
Its like people not being grossed out by the Saw movies when there is a new one every year and they never really change anything up. How long could they have kept up the same, slow moving games?
I loved the game, I'd order my three favorites like this, 4, 6 and 5. That is just my opinion though, somehow I get the feeling that the vocal minority will try and cause trouble with this game too.
People complain that RE doesn't need to change, but complain when COD doesn't change enough......
$150 off the 250 gig/kinect bundle is a bigger price cut than the 3DS.
Are you joking? We actually felt like we were getting our money's worth with games like Metal Gear Solid and Shenmue.
I'm not biased, I'm using it as a comparison, I find it funny that people poke fun at the Xbox 360 when you have to swap a disk, but nobody says a thing about mandatory installs or constant updates and installs.
More content is good, I'd rather swap a disk then have a game be gimped.
I remember in previous gaming generations when a game had more than one disk people were excited, it meant you were getting a lot of content. Only is it now a bad thing, and the reason its supposedly bad is because you'll have to switch a disk and take 5 seconds out of your game to do so.
I own over 200 Xbox 360 games, AC3 will be the 10th game with multiple disks, its not a huge problem. I wont have to mandatory install anything, no long updates, I can go home, pop the g...
Gotta love the Sony fanboys that think "hacked" means someone broke into Microsoft's security. Only Sony let people probe their systems for weeks on end to find a week spot.
This was switching up a URL, not a "hack" as the movies and television shows would have you believe. The funny thing is how the insecure Sony fans jump on it and try to rub it in. I may not use PSN that much, but I was still upset and saddened that my fellow gamers couldn't pl...
@BigStef71
How could you tell he wanted to work on something aside from Gears? I mean he's made 3 Gears games and People Can Fly were making the 4th. Naughty Dog made 3 Uncharted games and assisted with a 4th for the Vita.
Sony fans are going to try and jump on this like he wasn't happy working on the series, but he was more about promoting Unreal Engine 4 and Fortnite than Gears Judgment.
