You don't need a HD remake, the original on the Xbox was in HD. That was one of the best parts of the original Xbox, games like Jade Empire and Ninja Gaiden were full HD.
Great game, the only issue I have with it is at the end of the game when you have to fight wave after wave of enemies, each wave consists of like 4 of 5 enemies, so I always laugh when they are like "Get ready for another wave!".
No way should a 7 year old play that game...
I must admit I'm confused a bit, most people agree that digital only content is a bad thing, they are against it. People on this very site have bashed things like OnLive from the beginning.
OnLive was sold for less than 6 million dollars, that is a huge flop. It looks like Sony is pushing for more and more digital content, they tried with PSP GO, they try to entice people to buy digital on Vita and PS3, now they are trying to eliminate actually owning a game, you wouldn&...
Exactly, but at the time we didn't know about survival horror or anything like that.
A good comparison is when I was younger and I tried to tell my parents about the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie was good, they went on to tell me "Nothing beats the original". So I rented the original and watched it with them and we were all laughing at how bad the movie was, it was so fake and really, really bad.
When it comes to early survival horror, some...
Deus Ex was Deus Ex done right. I like stealth games and I'm glad Deus Ex and Dishonored are doing the genre right.
The earlier Resident Evil games were pretty bad, but we didn't really know that FMV was a bad thing, we also didn't know what good voice acting was.
I love 4, 5 and 6. I thought Code Veronica was pretty good on the Dreamcast. These games aren't really games that will win awards or anything, they are just fun.
Well in 8 years I've never not been able to connect to the service. I pay for satellite television as well, but I still have to pay extra for premium channels.
You get what you pay for, plain and simple.
Happy Wars is a free to play game!
You'd figure with all the maintenance and the first hacks, that Sony would have better precautions to deal with this type of thing.
I guess you get what you pay for.
I run a small dog training business, so I do alright for myself. I also usually pre-order and pay off games as quickly and early as I can. The only games that I don't have paid off entirely are Assassins Creed 3 and Black Ops 2, I just put a little down on both of those.
The race against the Mustang plane was so fun in the demo! This is such a change up from the traditional Forza franchise, Playground games has really got me excited for the full release.
Nice! Love the fact that they are doing a "pick 10" option when it comes to perks. Loving what I'm seeing so far, this month and heading into early next month is crazy and costly! I bought Dishonored, Fable The Journey and Walking Dead Episode 4 today, in two weeks Forza Horizon comes out, the demo was so fun and sick! Then a week later its AC3, then a week later its Halo 4 and the week after that is Black Ops 2! So many games, so little time!
@yesmynameissumo
Do you realize you are stating your personal opinion as fact right?
As for on rails, games like Rise Of Nightmares, Haunt and Kinect Rush don't use rails at all. Also, one of my all time favorite games is on rails, which is Panzer Dragoon.
@srcBFMVBMTH
You are trying to tell me Microsoft doesn't use integration with Kinect with core games? Mass Effect 3, Halo CEA, Forza 4, Forza Horizon and Ghost Recon Future Soldie...
Sony patented some similar tech not too long ago, the funny thing is that if Sony were to release something similar to Kinect, the people here would be praising it as another great Sony innovation!
I think next generation will be interesting because all three companies will try and attract all types of gamers right from the start.
People prefer smaller maps on COD because the game is set up for close corner combat. Its hard to camp on small maps, which is why Dome on WAW, Dome on MW3, Shipment on COD4 and Nuketown on BO are so popular.
COD is all about fast paced action, I don't want to search around large maps for twenty minutes looking for 6 enemies.
That is what I meant. My bad.
Don't see too many RTS games released these days. Looks interesting, but the game looks hard.
He admitted he lost, Al Gore tried to blame it on the altitude of Denver.....probably researched that on the internet he created.
I actually agree, why would they change it 7 years in? Its probably a safe bet that the Xbox 720 will use a different money system.
I don't mind MS Points, I like not having to pay tax on my purchases, since I get a lot of content, that'd be a lot of taxes.
I understand some people don't like having odd amounts of points, but I've never really had odd amounts, I usually keep at least 100 as a balance.
It was still HD and the component cables work really, really well. I'd much rather get a true sequel as opposed to a rehash version, like I said, I still have the Collectors Edition for the original Xbox.
Heck, the original Xbox was HD, while the Wii from this generation wasn't. Truly ahead of its time.
