Funny, there seems to be a $50 price cut on all the Xbox 360 Holiday Bundles....
It makes sense for it to come out before the end of March, mainly because we'll probably see the Xbox 720 and PS4 announced right after. You don't want your game flying under the radar because people are gearing up for new hardware.
On the other hand, had this been a Sony exec or developer who had this happen with their Nintendo or Microsoft console, this site would be all over it and you damn well know it.
It is unfortunate, but this could happen to anyone or any console. Still sucks though.
Tips on how to get hits on N4G
1.Praise Microsoft
2.Disrespect Microsoft
3.Praise Kinect
4.Disrespect Kinect
5.Talk about "old Rare"
6.Talk about how Vita has no games
7.Disrespect the PS3
8.Tell us what is coming on the PSN store
9.Tell us about PSN maintenance
10.Ex employee talks bad about the employer that fired them, especially if its an ex Nintendo or Microsoft employee
The list goes ...
That is terrible if true, but once again it'd be ignorant to speculate without some actual facts to back it up. I also wouldn't put blame on Nintendo, they seem like a company on the up and up. Foxcon would be where I'd put the blame, billion dollar corporations wouldn't risk the backlash to save a few dollars.

If you think I'd trust Google over any other source, you'd be mistaken. You can find some "facts" ...
Simply saying hardcore gamer's are bored isn't really covering the wide spectrum. I think we are getting that "been there, done that" kind of feeling. The lack of new hardware isn't exciting us, we should have gotten new hardware a year or two ago, that always reinvigorates the masses.
Sales have slowed because the market is saturated, plain and simple. The majority of hardcore gamers who want a current console already have one, or two or all three. <...
Halo 4 for sure!
The problem for Nintendo is that there will be limited amounts of Wii U's available, so while they probably could sell 3 million units by Christmas, they'll probably have less than 500,000 units available.
Microsoft always does well for the holidays, they just knocked $50 off and threw in 2 great games, Forza 4 and Skyrim. So I see them having a particularly great Black Friday. Considering Black Ops 2 looks so good, Forza Horizon and Halo 4 of course, Microsoft will p...
Sweet! Love being part of a premium online service that upgrades and changes its interface, I mean its not 2006 anymore.
I love the dash, been a part of the beta since the start and I've really been digging the new larger and colorful dash, pins are awesome and IE works really well, definitely the most stable browser on a home console.
No complaints from me, I feel like my $35 a year is more than worth what I get in return, now were getting free games a...
I'll have all three, but I expect to spend the most time with Halo 4 and Black ops 2.
I think you are forgetting that Microsoft was number 1 worldwide in 2011. Last year was pretty much just like this one, Sony was edging out Microsoft month to month, Microsoft dominated North America, then around the holidays, especially Black Friday, Microsoft sold like a million Xbox 360's in a single day.
I'd assume their plan is exactly the same, they have the cheaper console and there is going to be a lot of people who cant find a Wii U, the Xbox 360 will be the...
At least now people can feel secure with their personal information. Paypal backs up and reimburses you very quickly if anything goes wrong.
Agreed, after Sega left I gravitated towards Microsoft, mainly because they seemed to be the only ones to realize that gamer's were wanting to play games online.
The great games they've produced aren't too shabby either. I absolutely hate how this site is by the way, you can't say a single nice thing about Microsoft or Nintendo without getting disagrees and bubbled down.
I think millions of Microsoft Xbox 360 owners are thankful that they ent...
Good review, more people need to give this gem a chance. So often people disrespect on Kinect games simply because they don't like Kinect. This game is pretty good and works very well.
Glad to see this franchise hasn't lost anything with the third installment to this great series!
I was a die hard Sega Genesis guy, the main reason was that the Genesis released years ahead of the SNES, they already had a ton of 16 bit games. Also, being a Generation X kid, I naturally gravitated towards Sonic because he was so cool.
I remember when I was in school the older kids liked Sega, if you had a SNES, you got called a baby and other names. I eventually got a SNES and had fun with it, but I remember being able to play Mortal Kombat on the Genesis and do Fatalitie...
Hope those people find work again, doesn't sound like a lot of people were laid off, which is a good thing, still you hate to see people lose their job in this economy.
Lionhead is a big studio, so you wonder what they are working on, especially since they were hiring like crazy last year and earlier this year. They have a big enough team to work on multiple projects.
Actually I don't think the price drops by Microsoft and Nintendo had anything to do with Sony's slimmer PS3, which didn't cut the price at all.
Nintendo dropped the Wii's price because they have the Wii U launching, and Microsoft dropped the Xbox 360 because the Wii U is launching. I would figure in North America at least, that if certain people cant find a Wii U, the Xbox 360 will be the second choice.
Doesn't hurt to have Halo 4 as wel...
Its like a bad Dreamcast game, which I guess is why so many people like it. It has terrible graphics and voice acting, which is nostalgic. The game itself is okay, but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it.
Technically they are both the same game, but as a collector I stay away from Platinum Hits versions of games. I own 238 Xbox 360 games now and only 2 of those are Platinum Hits. I guess my hatred of "Greatest Hits" titles goes back to the original PlayStation, its Black Label or nothing, Green Labels just don't do it for me.
