Sounds good, anything that adds to my entertainment experience is welcomed. It seems like Microsoft is pretty dedicated to bringing their own entertainment to the people, which is why they have a former head exec running their entertainment department.
Options are always nice, too bad they didn't land Conan O'Brien the other year though, that would have been a pretty sweet plum.
If they belong to Microsoft, they should be returned to Microsoft.
So because someone phished or guessed this guys password, that is why you don't pay for Xbox Live? People throw around the word "hacked" like its going out of style. (Mostly thanks to inaccurate movies and television shows)
Phishing and key logging can happen to anyone, at any time. I get phishing scam emails every day, like the ones that say there is a problem with my Runescape, WOW or Diablo 3 accounts, all of which I don't even have. I've even gotten ...
Well despite popular belief here at N4G, Rare is working on two games for the Xbox 720 right now, including a game that was hiring people with first person shooter experience.
Microsoft also re-filed the Killer Instinct name, so they could definitely be up to something with that. Just because Rare made ONE Kinect game, a great one at that, doesn't mean that is all they do now. They only oversaw the second Kinect Sports game, Bigpark actually made that game. Which means R...
Just because Microsoft files a patent doesn't mean something is imminent, sometimes companies just file these to protect their assets. People might be surprised at the number of patents filed that never actually see completion, or light of day. I'd suspect the Xbox 720 to be a standard home console, with the standard controller.
That is great to hear, Kinect/360 is also a sponsor of the NFL's Play 60, which encourages kids to play for 60 minutes a day.
I've also heard of stroke victims use Kinect and it actually helps with recovery.
It launched against Red Dead Redemption, but it did pick up some steam later in the year and was named Time Magazines Game Of The Year. I cant wait to see part 2 on the Xbox 720.
I'm not really aware of Microsoft losing too many exclusives. Mass Effect would probably still be exclusive if Bioware didn't sell itself to EA. All Bioware games on the original Xbox were exclusive.
You cant really blame EA for trying to milk every red cent out of their investment, but its not like Microsoft Xbox 360 owners didn't have the game 5 years before it appeared on another console.
I liked how Microsoft worked this generation, lots of ...
It'd be worth it to a die hard fan, but I'd say that the average fan or gamer wouldn't be interested. The good news is that there is a ton of content on the disk and while DLC is good, its not essential. You could always pick up the different packs at your leisure and individually.
I'm sure it will, but at the same time, just about any new console would garner attention. We'll still see some sales and interest, but aside from Halo 4, I haven't seen any hype for games this year, not even Call Of Duty.
This console cycle has caused a lot of problems, were getting great games, but a lot of people are bored with the current hardware.
Remedy already said they wont be putting Alan Wake on Sony platforms, same with Epic and Gears Of War. There is a difference between Mass Effect and those games. Microsoft owns the actual publishing rights to Alan Wake, they could only publish on non competing platforms, like PC.
The original publishing deal for Mass Effect was with Bioware themselves, then they went and got bought out by EA. Had EA not been bought out, the series would probably be exclusive, but EA is a mult...
Achievements didn't start until this generation. I certainly don't want to start over again, working on 75k.
It'd be like saying Kratos being in PlayStation All Stars is whoring out God Of War. It just wouldn't be so.
I would love to see a sequel one day for the best selling console RTS of all time though, so much more history to tell.
This is the type of article that will see a lot of trolling, but I loved Halo Wars, I look at it as its own thing, Halo has a rich lure and there are many ways to tell the stories, from movies, anime and novels, to games.
I hope we see a sequel one day.
Do we really need a RE remake with chunky, bad controls? I shutter to think.
As long as they carry over Achievements I'll be happy. Make Xbox Live even easier to use and they'll be golden. Microsoft has a real leg up on the competition because they've had a streamlined online service for the last two generations. They have an online that people trust and that is really going to be important come next generation, as we are transitioning to almost 100% online gaming, every game pretty much has online, so as long as they keep that service on top of its game,...
Hell of a core lineup Sony is catering to this year man.
What is Microsoft and Nintendo thinking with their meager and totally un-core lineups huh?
This is a pro Sony fan site, people only put these articles up because they know the Sony fans will rage and click on the site and give tons of hits and attention.
The way to get hits here is easy, write an article that puts Sony in a negative light, write an article that praises Sony, write an article bashing Microsoft or Nintendo, write an article praising Microsoft or Nintendo.
In particular.
Xbox Live
Rare Studios
Kinect
N...
You are correct, they love to talk about them, beat their chests about how "core" and bad ass all these wonderful Sony exclusives are, yet most of them sell poorly and those same fanboys are too busy trashing everything Microsoft and Nintendo related to actually play those "Awesome" games.
Makes ya think...
You and your comments are the perfect example of what is wrong with this site. 20+ agrees and counting because you said you don't pay for Xbox Live because someone had their Live account Phished.
Xbox Live has never been hacked, to the best of my knowledge only Sony has ever had any true hacking done to their online service.
This site is a damn joke.
