Well yeah, if you go around calling women attention whores because of how they dress, that's sexist. Go say it to someone in the real world instead of on an online forum and see how long you can keep a job.
Your comment is sexist and stupid. They just enjoy cosplay, what's wrong with that? No one forced you to read it, and they didn't force whoever wrote the article to do so. It's obvious people enjoy their cosplay.
They didn't write it up as news though did they? Also, a lot of people enjoy cosplay, and enjoy seeing what other people have done with their outfits etc. So it makes sense that people would take an interest.
I disagree. It doesn't look like it's evolved in any meaningful way. If it's not getting vastly better, or at least different with each iteration, then there's no reason to exist. Especially in a game like Crackdown, which doesn't tell a decent story or anything like that.
I think what you're saying is true for the first game, but Crash 2 and 3 hold up today just fine. I think a lot of what Crash was doing has gotten better in games today, things like the underwater segments in Crash 3 come to mind, as being done better elsewhere, but the same is true of a lot of games. Even titles like Banjo Kazooie (which were both happily rereleased by Rare on the 360) have segments of the game that don't control as well as they could. Heck, even Super Mario 64 has a...
Googles 'new internet' won't make a difference because the issue is LATENCY not BANDWIDTH. High speed fibre optical lines will not significantly reduce latency.
Streaming allows any game to run on any device. You didn't seriously think they ported all of these games to PC did you? That's not want Sony want here. They don't want to make PC games, but they're happy for PC players to jump into their ecosystem with a premium subscription.
Sadly, adding more and more games to the service isn't going to make a difference, at least not for me. The problem is that the tech, network infastructures worldwide, aren't able to support this. Sending your control inputs to a server and then back again every time you want to move adds a considerable degree of lag, and this seriously, negatively affects a large number of games.
I would never dream of playing a competitive shooter like Killzone Shadowfall on a pl...
Lots of good, triple A games, that'll do it.
I think they are underappreciated to a degree. They've never hit the success that developers like Naughty Dog have achieved. Many of their games, like Sunset Overdrive, Fuse, Ratchet and Clank All for One etc. seriously underperformed.
In reality, I think they're incredibly talented but they just needed a budget to show that off. They're a studio that's built on making blockbuster, pixar-quality video games, so those smaller titles, like Fuze, All for One, ...
It makes sense though right? Because most of the scene would be CGI in the movie. Therefore, the guy at variety would be expecting it to look like CGI. It's not as if he mistook a scene from the game, for real life. He mistook an in-engine cutscene from the game, for a CGI movie scene. They're not all that different to begin with!
Their site uses one of the default wordpress themes too. Just very unprofessional all round. Hasn't changed in years either.
DSO are one of my least favourite publications that get featured here. Not only to they lack a sense of professionalism exuding from the design and overall presentation of their site they also produce some pretty trashy, phoned in content. In general, it doesn't feel like they're trying.
I think so too but at least they're giving it an open beta, so everyone will have the chance to find out if it's bad, or not. I'll at least give it a chance. Stupid name and concept aside, it could be fun.
I recently saw Baby Driver, and I remember thinking it had a stupid name and concept, before I saw it - yet it's probably the best film I've seen all year.
I don't want to put the game down, it's decent, but it's probably got a lot to do with the game frequently being on sale at a very low price. Regularly these games are on sale for just £2.50 or so on PSN. It's a steal at that price, and I assume sales are similar on steam.
I don't think the sheer cost of the stage is likely to be a big factor. Nintendo still often pay for the stage for competitions and things like that.
I think part of it is just expectation management. Since Nintendo's directs are shorter, and with less build up, people go into them with less expectation - and in turn, the snappy presentation style with maybe 5-10 trailers is always well received, even when actually have less to show than their competitors.
Wow. Yep, Sony spent all of their money on Monster Hunter, They can't afford anymore games, that's it, they're done! Might as well cancel TLOU2 while they're at it.
Rarely do I read such gibberish. Can't believe you wrote out a full paragraph of nonsense.
That doesn't even make sense. That just suggests he's happy to cannibalise his own market.
I agree though, because they aren't bringing new IPs I think the X will only appeal to those who have already bought into the XBOX brand.
As if releasing an unfinished/broken game would have had a better outcome. What did you want them to do? Release it when they weren't ready for launch just to get ahead of Overwatch?
I think the 4K enhancements are pretty significant and most games I have bought and played feature that support. I don't know what the author is talking about saying they're not noticable.
Yes, they're not noticeable if you don't have the hardware to go with them, a 4K HDR TV or a PSVR, but for people already invested in the high end tech for their living room, it makes a pretty significant difference to have the PRO behind that.
Spiderman is exclusive because Sony own a proportion of the rights to the spiderman movies, and therefore, exclusivity of the game was probably something they were able to leverage when integrating Spiderman into the Marvel cinematic universe.
Pulling a character out of Marvel like the hulk, as an exclusive, would cost a tremendous amount of money, and I don't think the hulk is popular enough to justify doing so. Making things worse, hulk gameplay wouldn't be all t...
