Design lab is cool but I really dislike that controllers design. A green dpad with a pink and blue shell, yellow bumpers? It's really horrible.

Feeds like this make me realise just how toxic N4G really is. We have comments calling people gay as if it's bad to be homosexual, we have others that can't recognise the issue with video game add campaigns that reduce women to little more than their sexual organs. Others calling overweight women whales.

I don't even care about the disagrees and downvotes. It's a shame we can't enjoy games without this shit.

I think the issue is that it will determine if third party support from these types of major franchises is worthwhile. Regardless of what you think of Fifa it's an absolutely huge franchise, especially in Europe, and will serve to demonstrate if its audience are interested in playing it on the go.

If it's a huge success, then expect to see more of EAs franchises on the Switch, and perhaps more from other publishers who choose to follow them. However, if it fails, t...

That's an awkward title considering most reviews cite the game as having UX pulled right out of 90s platformers. I mean, the lack of modernisation of their game, in line with the standards of the genre today, is the real problem so in that regard, this title is super ironic.

It's likely because these games don't sell well in Asia. Western releases, like Until Dawn don't sell well in Japan at all. Neither do titles like Call of Duty. They might as well give that away too!

Ultimately these games have different marketability in different regions and you can expect PS Plus to reflect that. Something like Until Dawn is worth a lot less to Sony in the Asian market than it is in the US. Would you guys be happy if we were getting obscure JR...

He made his living off of being a popular youtuber, it makes sense that if he loses popuarity, he loses work. What do you expect? He knew this when deciding to make a living off of youtube videos.

Plus he's already been paid for his voice work in the game.

I get the point, PC has a lot of games, but if we look at the games with the most relevence, the big, triple A titles that people want to be playing? Let's take a look at this last couple of months.

Yakuza Zero, Gravity Rush 2, Horizon, Breath of the Wild, Nioh, Mass Effect. Resident Evil.

3 of those titles are on PC, 6 of them are on PS4, and 2 of them are on XBOX ONE and 1 is on the Switch.

In 2016, if you look at the top 10 gam...

It's not like this on console. You can queue every game mode and find a game very quickly, at any hour. If you're playing at odd hours then changing your in-game region is a good bet.

As for gameplay, the article is hyperbolic.

"It’s just just a shame that what began as a varied game of skill, reaction times and diverse loadouts has become largely unplayable in a meaningful way."

This is just nonsense. Describing the...

Shame they cheesed him to the lighthouse with keyboard and mouse, though. Very sad about his loss but the video is a bit awkard to watch because of what the player screen captured is doing.

High expectations and a lot to make up for to its fans that suffered ME3 lead to this.

Let's be fair here, the animations aren't good and that does effect peoples experiences of the game. Additionally, it's not the only thing wrong with the game, with uninspired voice overs, trite narrative development and an open world full of mindless busy work.

Bare in mind for a moment that the author of this article gave Mass Effect one of its very highest review scores. It's quite possible that this is just an effort to defend that score, an attempt to ...

Bad when it's launching alongside Horizon, Breath of the Wild, Nier Automata and Yakuza Zero. There are far better RPGs / Action RPGs to be playing than Mass Effect right now. EA are giving people little reason to invest in this experience over others, when the quality of so many elements of the game is so low.

I guess it's a decent Spring option if you're playing on XBOX ONE or PC. Since all of those games listed are either PS4 or Switch exclusive. However I d...

Not really true though. Division's players never came back, neither did The Crews, neither will For Honors.

Ubisoft are sustaining these games financially off of pre-release hype and then extortionate MT which only attracts whales. It's a shame but someone will spend £200 or more on For Honors DLC, while it screws the rest of the community over.

The only game that's really sustained a healthy player base, supported a community that'...

It's quite funny because 2.6 million units is how many units killzone shadow fall has sold in its life time.

Goes to show that sometimes new IPs are worth the risk.

Didn't Uncharted 4 sell 2.6 million in 2 weeks too?

Uncharted 4 went on to sell more than 8 million units, and none of this data for either game even includes digital.

Knew it.

The free to play model wasn't going to work, so they shifted to a paid model so that they could give it away on Plus.

I don't have a problem with it, but they should have never said it would be free, because it devalues this.

Just a tip: When climbing unless the wall is almost vertical, just run up it and press b to cancel the climbing. If you keep cancelling you'll run for a little bit in between.

This way you can get up pretty much every mountain in the game without using any stamina. Obviously doesn't help with towers and such though.

it's a great game but it's not as good as the reviews purport. There's plenty I don't like about it, but thankfully more that I do. It's not a masterpiece though, in my opinion.

@AAnnoyedgamer

Some do, some don't.

I had a friend in college, him and his entire family suffered from autism. He had some mild social impairments, but he was a remarkable engineer. Always impressing everyone with the new devices he'd built. Another friend of mine who was also autistic, managed to complete his masters degree at the same time as his undergrad.

Many see autism as a cognitive style, a different way of thinking, w...
