Pretty sure fear towards spiders and similar potentially poisonous creatures is likely an innate quality. So it's easy to play on because generally speaking, everyone finds them at least somewhat dislikable.

I like spiders but I still think they look a bit creepy. That's kind of why I like them.

For what it's worth it's a lot of work to put spiders into a game. You have to rig and animate an 8 legged creature, which is much more complicat...

I don't think they're going to do that. Each of those games is so far removed from one another. If they're going to do these I think they'll be individual releases.

I think CTR plus Crash Bash could be a thing but I doubt it. Since Crash Bash was fun, but not well received, so they'd probably be worried that the release would harm the critical reception of CTR. It'd be neat if they reproduced Crash Bash with some of the classic characters. Crash Bash...

I wonder if they will run any better on the PRO? It would be nice if they could run in 60 or at least a higher framerate on the PRO.

They're decent but not as remarkable as this reviewer makes out, in my opinion. Sound quality is 'good' but not amazing, mic quality is average, okay but not great, battery life is poor, especially compared to the Playstation Platinum Headset.

For me the comfort was a 3.5 out of 5, but that will vary from person to person. I found they were hard on my ears after a few hours of gameplay. Not a deal breaker because I could play for a long while without it being a...

I'm not sure how this demonstrates it's a versatile engine. What did you think the orders engine was doing? Lighting, rendering, collision etc, same thing it's doing in this game. If this were an open world game then I'd understand where you were coming from because those games tend to feature a very different set of challenges, yet this game doesn't feature anything like that. The largest challenge here is probably integrating netcode.

It's also th...

Without gameplay it's hard to make any judgement here. It's relatively easy to make an environment look good in Unreal.

While I'm anticipating both games, and will be playing both of them come their release date, I worry that Horizon may have let a little too much out of the bag. They talk about how the T-Rex type mechanised dino is their biggest and most advanced predator, and yet this is what we're seeing in all the demos. The behemoth (the tower dinosaur) is the largest, yet we've seen a demo, and individual trailer for this too.

Is the pre-release media spoiling Horzion'...

That's pretty awful news, because it incentivizes Bungie to rush the production of the game. I'm sure it will come out in 2017 but if it needed to be delayed I would have been happy for that to happen for the sake of receiving a better game.

3 has that also if I recall.

I've played 3 4 and Zero, and watched 1 and 2 played by my sister (but didn't take everything in)

Two players going in blind is easier than 1 blind and 1 having completed it before? It's too easy now, players are able to whizz through the stages with a guy that's already completed it. They should revert it back to how it was before. People should be able to play through the stages together in blind co-op.

Oh stop it. As if games like Batman experienced performance issues because of its DRM. Resident Evil 7 performs very well on PC, and games like Just Cause, which likely do face performance issues, also perform atrociously on console, where they don't feature Denuovo. Dragon Age and Fifa both perform very well with Denuov on PC, almost all PC games will face performance issues from someone (due to the sheer variety of hardware being used to run the games), but it doesn't seem that we h...

You do slide if you brake. Not defending the game overall but if you brake in a bike it goes into a drift type thing, which is what they showed before. The problem with this is that it seems scripted rather than physics based, it's not the result of your shifting weight, its just a scripted action that occurs when you brake, like initiating a drift in ridge racer.

It would make sense if this related to an armoured core game. Just a guess though, they're apparently working on a few titles.

Yeah aside featuring melee combat it's nothing like dynasty warriors.

The key words aren't spoken in Japanese. Gravity Rush 2 features a fictional language that's heavily based on French. If its your job to review a game and you don't like it, then if you're a good reviewer you need to be able to articulate that with a fair argument and some objectivity. I don't think 'not being interested' in the dialogue is enough to justify distaste. If you don't like playing bad games, then maybe you shouldn't review games at all.

This is a review I was eagerly anticipating. If Jim likes it, I probably will.

I hope that the influx of Plus users brings something good to the LBP community. Don't spend your time remaking McDonalds in LBP guys (some of the kids publish levels like this) :P

In all seriousness though it's a fun game and I hope the people that get it have a lot of fun with it. LBP deserves more exposure and I hope LBP3 isn't the end of the series.

I see your point regarding TLOU, but the games DLC is a relic of a bygone age. On the PS3 it was common that games would segregate their user base with paid DLC map maps, and often feature relatively extortionate DLC prices. The weapon DLC is often criticised as giving players an unfair advantage, yet this really isn't true and for the most part (there are exceptions) it's harder to find uses for the DLC weapons when compared to the default set.

Uncharted 4 remedie...

Many people believe what trump stands for is prejudice and hateful. It's simply not something we can 'agree to disagree on' I'm afraid. Many people believe that it's not something you can allow to have any ground. We can't accept people supporting someone with racist policies, even if it's the other policies they agree with, because by supporting that person they're indirectly supporting racist and prejudice views.

This isn't comparable ...
