You do know that the NSA is collecting data on everything right? When I say everything, I literally mean everything as in all communications. Microsoft didn't "team up" with NSA. Companies do not have a choice in the matter. They have to, by law, hand over all data to NSA if they ask. The same policy is in place for Google, Yahoo, etc. It makes no difference. That includes this post here as well. Its probably being stored on an NSA server as soon as its posted.
Probably not. Foxconn is a MASSIVE manufacturing company with employess across hundreds of divisions. They have a pretty solid history of poor working conditions, so it's not beyond the realm of possibilty that this sort of thing happens.
Just throw out any random company that uses manufactured goods and they most likely use Foxconn. I see thousands of boxes from them at my job and I work in a voice and networking department. I doubt it has anything to do with Sony as a...
Maybe my PS4 IS in my bedroom?
........but seriously, it is.
I always have 2 questions when I see a survey.
- How many people were polled?
- What was the demographic?
Without that info, surveys are useless. The percentages don't have any meaning without a relation to the amount of people who participated.
Did they hire Square Enix to do their sales projection?
It's possible, but that is a very steep hill to climb to reach that goal.
Yah remote play is gonna be sweet, but unfortunately I don't have a Vita. I would't want to buy a PS4 and a Vita just for remote play as that would be kind of steep, price wise.
It's a cool handheld system, but so far I haven't seen any games that I would want to play. Just me personally and nothing against the line up itself.
Plus, I would have to give up gamepad integration if I went the ps4 route. In reality, its a minor thing, but I re...
That is true. Foxconn is massive manufacturing company that provides services to a ton of major suppliers that sell manufactured goods, including the big 3 (Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft.) I see thousands of Foxconn boxes at my job as well. As all our manufactured supplies come from them.
Foxconn has a pretty solid record of terrible working conditions. This should come as no surprise to any company that deals with them, Sony included.
Honestly if map, inventory, options, etc are integrated into the Wii U pad then I'm sold on that version. Plus, off tv play is a big factor for me, but I don't know if it has been confirmed yet. If it is avaliable I wouldn't be able to pass it up.
If not though, Ps4 it is.
No big deal either way.
This will not bode well for them in the long run. Candy Crush is a massive hit, but I don't see how they will return money to investors over the long term. I would short the stock once it does hit Wall Street.
Well the screen really isn't that tiny. Its a good sized tablet sceen. It's not handheld sized like 3ds or Vita and games look great on the tablet. Obviously not better than the tv, but the picture quality is ridiculously good. Throw on some headphones and you're set.
For the most part I play on my tv, but at the end of the night I just flip it to off tv play and crawl into bed until I fall asleep. Its even worse on Saturdays as I just grab the tablet and conti...
I'll be picking this up on Wii U for sure.
I hope it has off tv support, as it most likely will. Then I can just lay in bed all day and play Watch Dogs.
Neither is better than the other. I like both games for completely different reasons. I see this debate a lot, but I don't see why one has to be considered better.
Right, some mass conspiracy where Gamestop is behind the scene pulling all the strings in this massive industry.
Not everyone is ready to adapt to an all digital age yet. We're getting closer to that point on consoles, but this is not the gen for it quite yet. Has nothing to do with Gamestop.
Well they do have other games coming down the line like Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, new Xenoblade, Sonic Lost World, SSB, etc.
I can definitely understand not wanting to buy the system because of one game. I wouldn't recommend it either, but the Wiiu will be worth it in the long haul.
Yet, if you truly don't like any Nintendo exclusives at all, then yah, pass for sure.
edit: didn't hit disagree, just in case you were wondering...
@MikeyDucati1
I agree. I blindly saved money. Shame on me.
Seriously though, why would I care how Gamestop sells the game? I want to buy it and they want to sell it. Not much else to it. The end result is the same either way. I'm getting a copy.
Going through Ebay is no different though as it's the same practice. You're paying someone who bought multiple copies just so they can make a profit. Gamestop bought multiple copie...
Yah, man. I definitely got robbed by purchasing a mint copy for 80 in the original case. What a scam. Now that I know this I need to return my copy and purchase a copy from someone on Ebay for 100+. Wouldn't want Gamestop to get away with this one.
The way I look at it is you have 2 choices here for those that want the game. You either purchase it from Ebay for 100+ shipping, or you get it from Gamestop for much less.
I mean some people are arguing about ...
I'm happy with the changes. After the DRM removal, the only other thing holding me back was Kinect. Really, I just don't have room for it or a spot to set it up.
I won't be getting an Xbox One anytime soon, but at least I can pick one up later on down the road and not have to worry about it. Props to Microsoft.
Personally, they didn't try hard enough to copy Smash Bros. I would have loved a Playstation version of SSB, but this was not that kind of game.
It was a good first attempt, but fell way short of expectations. The game was severely lacking in almost every core component.
Maybe a sequel on PS4 can bring it back.
Harsh words, but a somewhat true statement.
The game itself really isnt all that bad by its own merit, but they really messed up in the grand scheme of things. So much hype was built up, and man, what a MASSIVE let down for me.
The law firm is looking into complaince with securties law. In this instance we're talking about stocks/shareholders. Not actual security flaws within the game.
Holzer Holzer and Fistel represents shareholder interests and they'll most likely want to verify that public information was not withheld in relation to sales numbers/revenue data that could hurt share price. This company is quite active in the stock market world. I've seen them investigate security cla...
