every one is entitled to their own opinion but for some reason killzone fans on n4g only regard perfect scores as "true opinions". apparently if its anything lower then that you have no idea what your talking about. its absolutely dumb founding to read comments of that nature. its like tricking yourself into believing there is only one opinion that matters. ill never understand it or comprehend it.
for saying that killzone is a 2.5 youll probably be regarded as a co...
yah i know. i guess nintendo is to busy counting all the money they've made off the wii and 1st party titles that they dont have to help the 3rd party devs. its a shame though, there are some great 3rd party games but were seeing less and less as of late. unless of course you count shovelware which will always be there, but those quality 3rd party titles for wii are becoming less common.
well motion controls are done right on all of nintendos first party games. 3rd party games are sort of hit or miss. zack and wiki is an excellent example of not only a great game but outstanding execution of motion controls. some 3rd parties games dont even use them like murumasa which i mentioned above. then youve got the point and shoot style of gaming like conduit, goldeneye, sin and punishment and dead space. so its got some good variety of different types of motion input or no motion if ...
hopefully. sega has followed through by bringing yakuza 3 and 4 to the states so i hope that they would continue to do the same with of the end

no offense to you personally but thats an extremely ignorant comment. japan as a whole is irrelevant in gaming due to the fact they have different shooting mechanics? how that makes sense to you is beyond me as they are still at the forefront of gaming today. do you only play games made and published by american studios? come on.
@cgoodno
yah, i see what youre saying and thats kind of my point as well. there has to be a balance between everything. yet we havent seen much of brink so maybe it really is for the better. the same could be argued for things like noob tubes and rpgs. some people like them and some people dont so maybe it wasent the right decision but if it makes the game far more fair and balanced im all for it.
see you're an exception to the rule. the other 99% of gamers who pick sniper are just trying to camp and up their KD ratio. There is nothing wrong with that if you're playing team deathmatch as there are plenty of games that cater to that style already but when your playing an objective based game snipers are pretty useless. its nice to have one or 2 on your team to help but they still become lackluster at best when the goal is to arm an objective or get a checkpoint. its hard to do t...
i understand what youre saying about it being tactical cause that is the truth. snipers are supposed to stay back and help clear a pathway. the problem is that people abuse the power that snipers have and end up running around trying to 1 shot kill people which is frustrating. it wouldnt be a problem if they actually stayed back and helped but very rarely do gamers actually choose to do that and in tern it makes the game very unbalanced at times. there needs to be ways to fix this instead of ...
im not against waggle in games its just that its not necessary for some. flining the wiimote around is not a bad thing as long as its necessary. there are some wii games that have ridiculously insane amounts of unneeded waggle instead of true button controls, thats the only time where its a problem.
no more heroes and super mario galaxy 1/2 did perfect motion controls as it was simple and not over the top.
muramasa, thankfully, had no waggle. thats an excel...
haha i like the more worded feedback. i didnt mean to pick on fps games so much its just that they are the most talked about and the "go to" kind of genre. All game genres seem to have weak spots this gen its just that they are more dominant in fps games. we always seem to get the short end of the stick on that one.
this is awesome. im very happy to hear that.
i know people wanna bash square enix any chance they get but square didnt make mindjack. they only published it.
klonoa! man, that game is awesome and it rarely gets any recognition so im surprised someone mentioned it. i still have mine on the ps1 and the wii remake was actually really well done. hugely underrated platformer.
i got it on ps+ so no complaints. i probably would have bought it anyways.
this game WILL be crazy haha. it does look awesome so far and hopefully sega continues the streak they've had with yakuza 3 and 4 and they bring this over as well, just like you said. if i have to import it i will.
@drazz
not one game on the wii is worth your time? if you cant find one game then your taste in games must be extremely small and closed minded. yet what i get from your comment is that you only play whats cool or whats considered by mainstream to be "hardcore". there are games on the wii that are more fun and more original than 90% of the cookie cutter "me to" games that are being released now and days. although for some reason i highly doubt you are know...
well yah, that's the point I was trying to make. there will be more than just Mario, metroid, zelda and shovelware.
well sony and microsoft already do that and have done that in the past so whats the difference between them and nintendo. you dont need to imagine it cause they say the same things just as much.
yah i agree, thats kind of my point to. i try to debate the topic constructively as im not trying to bash the game and then everyones defense mechanisms go up and they start to take things personally. id like for killzone 3 to be the best fps it possibly can cause as of right now, it isnt. its fun and entertaining but it still needs improvement. yet once you mention improvement people want to argue and say it doesn't need anything cause its perfect which is far from the truth. which goes ...
