well from a personal standpoint i definitely think it was worth it. i do feel slightly cheated as i think they could have easily added super mario world for no additional charge but overall im still happy with the purchase. you get mario 1-3 and lost levels with updated vibrant colors (everything is more distinct and easy to see) and enhanced sound. Also comes packaged with a music cd and a mario history artbook.
all that aside what i also really liked was the fact that you ...
i agree. paying for part of the game and then unlocking the rest later. this is not the first time nor the last for capcom.
all of my favorite moments and experiences with video games have come from single player experiences. i dont think there is a multiplayer game that would make my personal top 100. probably not even a top 500, not even close. I like mp but i have a hard time playing any sort of mp longer than 10 hours total before it becomes dull to me. i mean i can only play on the same maps and run around shooting the same stuff for so long before i just get sick of it. great story, interesting characters, g...
i can tell by your comment that you didnt read the article and merely posted to downplay the wii. all the article is stating is that high voltage finds little improvements here and there that can further the power they get out of the system. i guess everyone knew that but you seeing as how you couldn't take the time to read the link.
i hope that capcom brings okami to the ps3 and move at some point in time. i already own both ps2 and wii copies but it has such a fantastic art style that i wouldn't mind playing it over in hd. it deserves more attention and recognition than it currently has. such a fantastically well made game.
im not sure if its truly dead yet but survival horror has now evolved into action horror. all we need is for developers to return to the root of what made survival horror great.
the best buy that i went to seriously had 1 copy left. it was sitting on the shelf all by itself. im pretty stoked that i managed to find 1 copy left.
dang. im about to leave right now to go check it out. hopefully there is some chance they have 1 copy left.
i mean graphics matter of course. im in the minority though when i can honestly say i dont care or they dont matter to me. immersion or not, i just want to play a good game. great visuals are a plus but have never or will never be a reason i purchase a game or want to play a game. its a big deal for 99% of gamers and is a great way to market and sell a game but at the end of the day i could care less. i can appreciate great outstanding visual masterpieces but it has no connection or selling p...
i better get an invite to the bf3 beta for buying medal of honor day 1.
picking up my copy today. 40 dollars at best buy. such an awesome deal.
currently replaying ff9. such a blast and a personal favorite of the entire series.
victory records has the worst bands on their label except for strife and darkest hour. 505 games should have tried to get a deal with deathwishinc. such a better selection.
cheat codes were an awesome part of last gen and the gen before. i also had a gameshark for just about every system growing up and man i got so much value out of that thing haha. now and days if you wanted to use a cheat code you would have download it as dlc. "cheat code pack now available. only 9.99".

the japanese rpg blog.
i think its a blog dedicated to japanese rpgs. i could be wrong though.
you make a valid point. i forgot that you can do site to store. didn't even cross my mind.
thats insane. there is a best buy about 3 miles from me. im gonna have to go check it out. hopefully thats also the in store price and not just online. if thats true im gonna have to buy it.
i heard it was gonna be a third person FPS with killstreak rewards. i guess we'll have to wait and see.
nope havent played it yet. i have played yakuza 1-3 and id give all of those games about an 8. the reviewer said it was more of the same so that should mean score to right? or is his quote baised as well? i mean, which one is it cause it cant be both.
yes its definitely worth it. especially for 10, thats a steal. its kinda like a mix between god of war and zelda so if you enjoy those 2 things you might like it. its got large scale puzzles, dungeons, item unlocking (similar to zelda), weapons, boss fights, and a level up system like god of war where you collect souls and spend them on combos and what not. All that is combined with a pretty decent story and fairly unique graphical style. its a good game and i enjoyed it. there should be a se...
