im interested to see what dungeon hunter is like. if its old school hack and slash and leveling then thats gonna be a must buy for me.
haha yah i guess i should have put "/s" at the end of my post so that people would know that i was joking. i guess sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet unless you clearly state that you are kidding.
i would never ever pay that much for a game or dlc. i very rarely buy dlc to begin with cause most of the time i feel like im being ripped off. even more so you can just unlock some the tiger woods dlc by playing the game. its insane to see them offer up...
get away with what?
if anything im the one getting away with a good deal. im surprised ea priced it so moderately. its pretty much a steal if you ask me.
mastodon on rock band 3 will be fucking awesome.
at least im getting a lot of content for my 260 dollars so it'll be well worth it for me. day one and day one dlc purchase. pretty stoked.
i still have my ps2 copy. after watching that video i might play through it again. it never got much attention but i liked it a lot. great game.
well sure, they could have done a lot of things with that money but i dont see it necessary to make sequels just for the heck of it. the do need new IPs, i cant argue with that, but i think the line up is pretty good so far with more to come. i cant complain seeing as how i still play galaxy, ssbb, and donkey kong endlessly.
btw i dont think the kirby game has been announced. ive seen the leaked gameplay video and saw something about it in the quarterly releases but as of now...
i agree with what the article is saying. there isnt much to look forward to as of now but have i fairly high hopes that a good handful of games will be announced for the wii at e3.
some games that i hoping to see or might be a possibility....star fox, new kirby, f zero, pikmin 3, new play control pikmin 2, some localizations like last story and xenoblade, luigis mansion 2/new play control original, and maybe even a full on yoshi game?
truth be told though im ...
they are still very relevant and i hope to see them last for a very long time. they take risks in bringing over games to the west and for that i respect them as a company just as much as any other company doing the same.
both of those points you mentioned defintely had an impact on me buying it. there was nothing of interest in the line up for me and its priced 50 dollars cheaper than my ps3 which is hard for me to just instantly shell out the money.
Another thing too is that nintendo always revises their handheld models multiple times making them cheaper with better features. its tough for me to go out and buy one at this time when i know that in about 1 to 2 years they will unveil a 3ds bet...
it really depends on the type of game as its not so cut and dry. i dont mind a game being easy if the story, characters, and experience have pulled me in and is my prime motivation for playing. case in point, im replaying through the kingdom hearts games on ps2. Currently on kingdom hearts 2 and the games are easy, like really easy, yet i cant stop playing. i wanna visit the different worlds, meet the characters, level up and follow through with story regardless of the challenge.
i wish they would get back in the hardware market. it probably wouldn't be practical at this point but i still play my dreamcast on a regular basis and enjoy it more than any console i have ever played or owned. Thats includes this gen as well.
mdk2 is such an awesome game. still have it and play it on my dreamcast. i had no idea they were putting together an hd remake or even wiiware for that matter. pretty stoked to hear that.
great blog. hopefully you write more in the future.
38 hours in mag and socom feels like 3rd person mag. i don't mean the actual game itself but the connections and mechanics are closely identical so i just cant shake that vibe. its a lot of fun and ill still be buying it regardless. the 2 games are just a little to similar to me.
article summary: guy dislikes sniping because he cant quick scope. therefore he has to snipe normally creating a problem. second problem he has is that he doesn't want to use any other weapon besides the sniper when rushing. therefore creating a secondary problem that now supposedly needs to be fixed and patched.
maybe they can create a patch for this guy where quick scoping is excellent and your secondary weapon is a sniper, you're grenade is a sniper gun instead and...
yah i still have mortal kombat 2 for gameboy. i play it every now and then on my sp. its actually a fairly good handheld game. good roster, fighting is fun, fatalities, everything you would expect in mortal kombat. i think its a great handheld version of the game as it pretty much stays true to the name.
i seriously cant wait to play this game. so far it looks like an insane amount of fun.
i enjoyed final fantasy 13. it was a decent game. not the most amazing game in the series but it was fun and im glad i played it. it could have been better and thats hopefully where 13-2 steps up and corrects all the problems from the 1st. they have a great chance to turn it around and create a better game than 13. thats the reason im looking forward to 13-2.
im really excited to see what wii 2 will look like and how it will function. nintendo has never been up to date with the times but their consoles have always been outside the box in terms of creation. they always take a unique approach to how they build their consoles and how the user interacts with them. it'll be interesting to see what they have in store for us.
