there are some in betweens but the hate is just a one size fits all generalization of the attitude of the wii. this wasn't meant to come off as a fanboy rant but more as different perspective that i think some people overlook.
well i dont think it would be needed but it would be welcomed. from a gamers standpoint, yes. most people would want an hd console with the works. from nintendos stand point i dont think they are trying to rush a new console out the door. unless the wii starts dive bombing in sales i expect the wii to be around for a few more years. the sales are slipping but they are so far in the money its ridiculous. they are still selling consoles, not as much as they were, but still selling just fine. i ...
well see thats what i wanted to debate. Its outdated and not current with the times and has causual games but what about everyting else. Why is it it regarded as something that should be ignored on 2 flaws alone. Ps move now has casual games but is that somehow supposed to be ignored since it is less common? The motion plus remote works just as well as the move, which is how it should have been since day one. Yet since its nintendo of course they would wait it out over time. other than that t...
well i never browse the beta forums so it would be nice if you explained why it was broken. it may be, but it seems to work for me as intended. i complete tasks, get points, level up, and get rewards. so far that process has gone smooth.
yah well its nice to hear it from ueda himself. what if they weren't using any elements from those games and instead where taking a different approach from the ground up, something completely different. at least he didn't leave us in the dark and its merely an assurance that they were mixing elements but not just copying them.
yep! those are the ones. you get a packet when you move up 1 rank or level in the system. that packet had a ton of avatars that all said pro, like 8 of them i think, some dynamic themes and a mini or 2. cant remember the exact numbers. not bad for the 1st level i suppose. i didnt have to go out of my way to get those free items which is nice.
btw, there is a "quest" system set up that you can view that will give you specific goal oriented objectives, as well as lis...
its a decent system. you get points for just about everything. downloading demos, reading emails, posting on the forums, getting trophies, buying games, etc.. so far ive gotten 6-8 avatars, a few dynamic themes and some minis but im not very high up on the rewards ladder yet so i still have a ways to go. plus there are sweepstakes you get automatically entered into for events and games, things of that nature. so far so good, no complaints from me.
thats a good thing. i kind of expect to see a mix between both with some new elements thrown in. this is one game that im highly anticipating.
the conduit 2 is guaranted to be shit but you have no reason why? just because?
conduit 2 is gonna have 14 game modes, 30 suit unlocks, multiple weapon unlocks, dual firing modes similar to unreal, custom weapon loadouts, 12 maps, online and offline hoard type mode(team invasion), bots, multiple characters with different abilities, more than just standard weapons, will support patching (so maybe dlc down the road), 2 control schemes and wii speak support. that is far more con...
great review. keep up the good work. hope to see more in the future.
well if you bought a wii you would have more games than you could finish. there is no way you would be able to play the back log, catch up and still be current with the library. the games are spread out but at least there is time to play the games and they are in no shortage unless you only like a certain type or genre of games then yes, it might be limited to you.
ps3 gets tons and tons of games but sometimes they are way to many jam packed in 1 month. by the time i finish 1...
welp, looks like you didnt play mad world.
yah and neither did wii owners so whats your point? i hate talking sales and numbers but since you insist on bringing them up, double the number of 360 gold users and your still about 10-15 million short compared to wii consoles. so yah i guess that is funny huh?
i have no idea what gold users has to do with anything related to this article anyways. you might be in the wrong section. at the top of the page there are tabs for different sections. click the one marked "xb36...
for real. those should have been localized when they were released. thats one thing im hoping they bring up or discuss soon.
nintendo has some great games out on the wii and there will be more to come thats for sure. the wii has some great core titles that get overlooked in favor of using the wii as a casual argument to downplay any weight it holds. it baffles me as to why people are passing up on some of the best games this gen without even taking time to really look at what is offered. people complain but yet know little or, even sometimes, nothing about the software lineup. gamers this gen want 4 hour games in h...
im stoked to see what nintendo has up their sleeve. im expecting a couple of things like that kirby that was shown, f zero, pikmin 3, starfox, and skyward sword of course. also hoping for a couple of localizations but that might be hoping for to much. i still have an insanely massive backlog of wii games to play so im set for a while. should be plenty enough to hold me over for now.
it could be your tv. my wii looks fine on my bravia, 480p and all. yet once i switch over to my lg it looks a lot more rough. i still play it on both tvs cause i could care less but theres a pretty major difference that some people might be annoyed with. even my dreamcast games look great when played on my bravia with the vga hookup.
yah i definitely see the creativity on psn and xbl, there is no denying that, but where is the substance in those games? what happened to picking up a game at the store that you planned on playing for weeks or even months. we've moved so far into multiplayer as a crutch that 4 or 5 hours of play time is ok and repetitive multiplayers seems to be the only way to get any life or extension out of you're game. either that or trophies. even so, and this is just my opinion, those multiplaye...
@active reload
right now i play ps2, xbox, dreamcast, wii, ps3, advance and ds. yah thats a lot haha but i somehow still manage to find time to play on all those systems. i had a 360 back when it first launched but its gotten the red ring quite a few times and i just haven't had the money to get a new one. ive been spending all my extra cash on games. hopefully i can get that new black 360 before the year is over.
i do see what youre saying though and i d...
I think that nintendo has moved passed a lot of those complaints that you made. Well not necessarily nintendo but it seems like some devs are taking a different approach. Of course the wii will never be in hd and i doubt they will ever take security more seriously for the system but i think its grown from what it was in the past few years.
The online aspect of the wii is great. Not amazing but great. Not enough devs focus on the wii online aspect of games as titles are severe...
