I appreciate the response man.
*I agree with what you were saying as well. The rant about 'over the top console fans' was particularly funny.
This will be a popular game no matter how you spin it. Even if the game doesn't live up to the hype (which it may not), this game will still sell many copies. It's cool to see so many people excited about a game's release, even if it's not for my regular console. The Halo series is the Xbox. That game single handedly helped keep the original Xbox console afloat. And now it's coming out for a more successful console--it's the ultimate throwback for an Xgamer.
Real quick though: ...
Metal Gear for the playstation 1 was a very short game as well, but that didn't change the fact that it was incredible.
While you waste your time, he obviously enjoys it.
The 20 and 60 GB do have near-perfect backwards compatibility, but it comes down to this: do you want the PS3s price cheaper or not? Gamers are screaming that they want the price down, so cuts were made. Most people have a ps2 anyway for the games that don't work. I have a launch 20 gig that has the full compatibility, but i seldom ever use it...but then again, that's just me.
If they sent out a reviewer's guide for heavenly sword, then i might understand this reviewer's complaint; however, since they sent out a guide for a game that is really the biggest showcase for sony's sixaxis, i understand. It's a new control scheme, and motion control is a new thing for the playstation brand. I suppose gaming companies should just assume reviewer's just understand everything, and won't need any help, or won't benefit from a few tips from the developers. Desperation or not (...
is acting like a moron. Sony is just trying to give their game every possible chance. It's a one of a kind game and control scheme, so I understand what sony was thinking when they sent the guide. It's really not that big of deal, whether it helps or not. To me, the reviewer's comments come off as juvenile. He doesn't have to read the guide if he doesn't want, so stop complaining about a company trying to help their game. It has nothing to do with your intelligence you insecure prick.
I've been to lancaster before. It's cool to see an article written by a local publication end up on N4G.
in Europe right?
and buy whatever F***ing console you want. I don't like the Wii, but the ps3 and the xbox both have appeal to me.
but it doesn't change the fact that some people find the controls very easy and intuitive. THe reviewers have, for the most part, disagreed. Well, they don't have to buy the game then. I never thought this game would sell like resistance or motorstorm, and personally, I don't think I'd like it, but it's great that some people do. Bad reviews or not, some people enjoy the experience, and if using the argument, "it's still a bad game. Look, IGN SAID..." makes you feel better, then con...

You can always play a game right away in warhawk. I've had the game since it launched; however, sometimes the ranked games are hard to join because of all the users. This is something that will have to be sorted out, but it's not a large deal. It could have been much worse.
Yes, The availability of ranked games can be annoying but otherwise things are very smooth. When I host a game, it's completely filled in minutes. The action is taut and tense.
THe pic is blurry, but that shows 49 points and only 7 deaths in a 20 min death match game. lol...
Ratchet could be AAA. The scores for the PS2 games were always high. Scoring over an 8 is good. If a game like Warhawk makes people play and have enormous amounts of fun--that's what matters.
No self-respecting person is going to cry over a video game. Your comments are juvenile and unneeded. So it's a bad game? The PS3 community is not going to perish over a bad game. Bad games get made; it's part of the industry, just like bad movies. Heavenly Sword and Warhawk turned out well, so that is a good thing.
It got pretty good reviews. Some big sites gave it high 8s. Why'd you say it got bad reviews?
very confident of this title, but i was not cynical either. Even though i never honestly planned to buy the game, it's too bad all that money was wasted. The company took a risk on a supposedly novel concept, but it didn't pay off. Brave game developers are a good thing in the industry, but it just so happens, (in this instance) that bravery hates company. In other words, i don't believe this game will sell well, but the idea of trying new things is a positive attribute. I envision a dreary g...
but this technology does require new drives, with no concrete news on pricing. We have to focus on what's realistic right now, and both blu-ray and hd-dvd are realistic, relative technologies.
All this comes down to price. The more advanced the technology typically means higher manufacturing costs, which is in turn, passed to the consumer.
who cares about reviews, I will get this anyway. You make it sound as if all the reveiws were bad. Didn't this game only get one mediocre/slightly poor review? Most of the other reviews so far have been 8s and 9s, which is considered good.
I want this and bioshock. I already got warhawk last night. ;)
Gamers who only buy games that get over a 9 review are just limiting themselves; however, if every single review is below a 5, then the game probably sucks. lol
'SOLID' actor.
