Sucks for me, I'm not too interested in Killzone 2 (fortunately I have SFIV) but still, I'd definitely like to try this- loved it last gen. Doesnt seem to make sense why its available first on Live :/
Bethesda are shafting us with core gameplay mechanics. Not just extra quests. Its disgusting- if it was due to MS' chequebook then I think I'll soon lose interest in the industry. They shouldn't have released it on PS3 if they were going to bend it over straight after and screw it over so royally. I hope everyone who cares about the game industry as a whole makes their views known to Bethesda or this trend will continue.
As much as I loved the Xbox last gen, MS has really put a sour ta...
I got a Dell Mini 9 last week and installed Mac OS X on it- been using almost non stop since- brilliant :)
If people will use the argument that this is an Open Beta to condone this poor service, then they cannot deny that Home is still unreleased- this is merely a cover-up for another delay. It may be available now, but in a Beta form THIS bad, it's not worth having. We should at least be able to login and as that's not the case, it shouldn't have been released released to the public, even as a Beta. Fortunately, I wasn't too excited about Home so I can wait, but still, I'm very dissapointed with ...
There would be no need for all the restrictive DRM if the PC market were not such cheapskates. If I enjoy something, I'll credit the creators by NOT stealing their work. Chances are the people who blame the DRM would have illegally downloaded it anyway so it was put there because of you. If I were a PC dev or a publisher, I would have given up on PC "gamers" a long time ago.
Who cares if its an open beta- everyone who wants to play it will be able to play it. Are you aware that googlemail, one of the best email services around, is still in beta, as is N4G. There's nothing wrong with it being an open beta. I don't really care too much for Home, but your argument is terrible.
If PC gaming were to go down the pan, I wouldn't be suprised at all if so many PC "gamers" steal all the games they're so fond of. I know if I were a developer I would definitely not give these cheapskates more entertainment to steal.
Yet again Sony have failed to market one of their biggest games- its an awesome system and an awesome game, I got it day 1, but Sony are destroying their franchises with zero marketing- oh except for Singstar Abba, seen a few ads for that (terrible ones, mind). This had the potential to sell at least half a million day 1, in my eyes. I hope it is the shortages, otherwise Sony better sort themselves out for KZ2.
Well, the OS is much more streamlined, stable and secure. Important software such as the Adobe Creative Suite are far more stable on the Mac, which as a designer, saves me a LOT of hassle. Also, if you miss the gaming advantage PC's have, just install Windows with Bootcamp- contrary to an earlier post, it doesn't run both Operating Systems at the same time, you choose when booting up, so as long as you have a Mac with a powerful enough graphics cards, games are great on a Mac. I hate to sound...
Double post- sucky net :(
5. Sunshine
4. New Super Mario bros.
3. 64
2. Galaxy
1. All Stars
:P I know its cheating but hey, All Stars rocked.
Even Snake couldn't resist...
I hate all this negativity towards reviews- sure, I'd love to play every game and decide which are good, but I'd waste a ton of money. Professional critics and journalists point me in the right direction. Also, with all those great games I just think its tragic Sony failed to market any of them properly. MS definitely knows how to market their console- they don't need exclusives as every multiplat game is advertised solely for 360 here in the UK. Oh and I agree, if a game is available for bot...
is Wii Music.
After so many years of cherishing Mario, I can safely say that LBP is doing more for gaming now than Mario did back in the day and now particularly, Mario has lost his way (although Galaxy was amazing). Its a shame that this isn't selling better. I've only seen 1 ad on TV and nothing anywhere else, plus the whole delay fiasco confused a lot of people- 2 retailers actually refused to sell it to me on launch day. After a few days of playing this virtually non stop with no sign of getting bored ...
Me? I have a PS3 already and love it, but the real question is should I buy a 360 or build a new PC? Leaning towards 360 to be honest. I sold my old PC after I got my mac as it was too loud to really enjoy games. I'd just love to know what sort of games are coming out next year on 360.
Really interested in picking up a 360 for this one, although, the Live subscription fee really annoys me and I'd struggle to pay it out of pride. Plus I'm not sure how long the 360's got left and if there are any games that aren't designed to make you feel more well endowed on the horizon (I don't really care for Gears of War type games). Alan Wake in 09? I'm really not trying to stir up a fight of fanboyism- I'd really like some opinions from 360 owners. Fable 2, L4D, Braid and maybe Fallout...
Bioshock, SotC and MGS4 are prime examples of video games being art. Well written, good musical score and stellar art direction. Its a mix of lots of art forms.
I haven't played the demo, I don't have a 360- this was one of the games that may have forced me into that purchase. Unfortunately it won't judging by the direction the game has gone. I was all for more of the same ol' awesome platforming. Although the reviews may have complained about it being "more of the same"- I have no problem with having more of a good thing.
"Lame, I won the lottery again, this is just more of the same"
See my point?
I'm a Mac user and keep a big, noisy PC hidden away for TF2- this would be a day 1 for me if its smooth and Valve games are available (well, only TF2 and I'll be content).
