Completed it yesterday- amazing game- I found it really scary, and it does it without resorting to cheap controls mechanics. It definitely deserves more sales and had I known about this free DLC for new buyers, I wouldn't have rented it. May nab a copy now; more sales means they're more likely to create a sequel/more DLC.
GOTY 2010.
I played World of Warcraft for years, so there was inevitably some insanely long sessions in there.
The new 360 branding, particularly the Kinect logo, is horrible.
GT5 will no doubt be a great driving simulator, but what I find so hard to believe is that so many people are driving simulator fans.
Both games are/will be great though if its your cup of tea, judging by reviews and hype. The real winners are those who played Forza the past few years and will buy GT5 later this year as well.
I think the issue I have with Move is that the most interesting Move games so far are games you can enjoy without Move, such as Killzone and SOCOM. Seems a lot better value to buy a Wii instead to enjoy all the amazing Wii exclusives as well as those Move games, just with a DualShock. That's how I see it at least.
Completed Alan Wake this morning and its my game of the year so far- I'm yet to play Mass Effect 2 or Red Dead Redemption yet though.
The ultimate Move game would be Alan Wake- flashlight controls with this would be really good. Thoroughly impressed by this demonstration. I've been quite negative about both Kinect and Move, but this changes quite a lot; still don't want to buy either of them yet though. Genuine question- is there anything to stop Microsoft utilizing a wand style controller for Kinect? Seems like the tech is available and they have a more than capable camera.
Currently playing through Alan Wake and as it stands- it should definitely be on this list.
Should have dropped the baby and nabbed another...
You're right, the PS3's best is also yet to come, same with Wii, not sure why this is even news.
My PS3 won't let me play online with my friends as they all have 360s "FACT", my PS3 doesn't play Halo, Mass Effect and Viva Pinata, just a few games that I love "FACT", however, the 360 won't play my favourite game of all time- Metal Gear Solid 4 "FACT".
Both consoles are awesome.
Woah ho! Good one! Damn, you're funny.
Never played the first, enjoyed the demo, probably gonna give it a rent.
Very good indeed, the demo at E3 was so disappointing, but videos I've watched since have proven otherwise.
The video is testament to how good the game will look- suprisingly small difference between real life footage and in game. I think the car however, looks awful.
ODST, Bioshock 2 and Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 are amazing I think.
Fable was alright, Fable 2 was way better, so I'm hoping 3 will be even better. I'd rather a new Elder Scrolls game though- Oblivion was the game Fable tried to be.
You wouldn't, clearly- but you're forgetting that: how good exclusive games are is subjective, a potential buyer may have friends already on Xbox Live and Blu Ray isn't a big deal for a lot of people.
Both consoles are awesome.
Isn't the list of PS3 games a little optimistic? Agent, Killzone 3, inFamous 2, Last Guardian in 2010? Has Resistance 3 even been shown anywhere? (genuine question, not a dig). Even the 360 list has a couple of of 2011 games- XCOM and Kingdoms won't be this year surely.
A little bit more on topic- the 360 Slim is a great machine- just what Microsoft needed, something a bit more reliable, quieter, with built in Wi Fi. Potential 360 owners have a couple more reasons to...
Had an Android rip off of this game- didn't like it. I could see Move support for this going down well though.
