well you can complain all day about it. if it wasn't making them tonloads of money it wouldn't exist. and there certainly is a market for these cheap shots called microtransactions. i would do exactly the same if i was honest enough.
i just don't get why it bothers you that much that others like to spend money at their own will? if you want to talk about things that is bringing gaming down look for the audacity of certain consoles manufacturers.

to me it isn't. i was around when the first elder scrolls was released. there was a time when elder scrolls titles were benchmarks of what your computer could do. since skyrim they dropped this high quality approach and what remained was a dull, ugly 0815 western rpg. i think i quit skyrim after around 20% of the trophies. such a shame.

it's like a mario jumper if nintendo was able to embrace the height of tech. i'm lovin' it. i don't even care about the shitty character design. nintendo people taught me "it's the game, not the graphics". so yes, knack 1 and 2 are awesome games.
it's one pf these things that fall into the "human semantics" category. like this backwards compatibility everybody was screaming for and hardly anyone ever uses it. people always want what they can't have. and when they got it it's crying and whining for the next thing they can't have. it's always the same, no matter if the subject is women, console features or even soda-refill (if you're living in europe).

just 1 wish: lose the optical drive. it will be 2018, 2019 or 2020 and data carriers should already now be a thing of the past.
no more hard crashes are happening and even if so and you died when re-logging in you'll get this huge green column that indicates where your dead body is. so one does not lose the whole equipment anymore.
much, much less crashes in general.
graphics wise it is still top notch.
dinos are still glitching through stonewalls and attacking dinos are still able to glitch through into your bases. especially alpha raptors on crack. but there are measurements ...
i am less baffled about the performance issues on pc than about the fact that this franchise still gets bought.

multiplayer focus? i could have lived with crap like transactions or other bullcrap. but multiplayer is the line for me to stop any money from leaving my wallet. and no, i am not against the concept of multiplayer, i just despise human beings. prefer a good AI over a human opponent any day. AI can be programmed in a was that surprises me. while playing against humans is dull. always the 3-4 typical (the cheater, the helper, the indifferent and the antagonists) types. bores the hell out of me....
i don't get all the hassle? obvisously there are many, many people out there who don't mind the transaction system and they obviously like it being shoved down their throats. what's wrong with giving an audience a ripoff when they like it and buy it.

i gets difficult asf in the later missions. so rewarding when you are finally able to crack a mission after days of having died trying. one of the best franchises out there. bombs pretty much every other turnbased strategy game out of the waters.
for how long exactly before it will look dated? 6 months max? and then? at least you still got a 4k console. that's all there is to it.
