hmm. most points like dull story and boring gameplay we are already used to with most aaa games these days, but that this game is a bugfest is very disappointing.
when i read the headline this one monty python movie came to my mind where a knight that looked badass got chopped by another dude until there was only the torso and the head of the badass knight left and he was shouting sitting on his legless stump: "ok, let's call it even".
maybe they will put a little more weight in developping titles that do not just want to do the same as every other title. if you start with a brainfart idea there can be no golden output. get a professional market analysis and act accordingly.
nintendo learned? last time i checked they are still stuck in their usual subpar approach. no sign of having learned something.
they still got the massive american market. americans seems to love having an american multimedia brand in their living rooms. i don't see a problem here. the gaming market is clearly not their main target group anymore. yeah i would feel bad too if i was brand loyal to microsoft as a gamer.
is this more for singleplayets then or is the single player portion still just an alibi?
soooo enbarrassing that a non contender is selling them out. i would take this as a sign to having failed utterly. my take is they are only staying in the business with their consoles branch to cut taxes for the company. everything else doesn't really make sense.
a non contender with a subpar approach sells more units. i just had to repeat this sad, sad development. dark gaming times.
for the switch i can remotely understand why this got released. on the other platforms i have to seriously ask how many times they want to re-sell this franchise to us? i think they are even topping the resident evil series in terms of "polishing an old turd and sell it again" mentality.
middle-earth. this alone makes me shy away. is it too much to ask to come up with something original??
there is a target group developpers have to cater to. people in 2017 with dial ups are most certainly not part of that target group. either be happy with your dongle or move to a more urban region.
as far as i'm concerned this generation only consists of sony. (feels good to act like ninendo and pretend there is no market except what they are offering and there are neither contenders nor standards) and even mighty sony is not able to really thrill me with their exclusives. and their love for indies filling up the psn instead of upping their a game. lose the countles sequels and prequels and develop new games for a change. these are dark gamer times we're living in.
i am all things apple (macbook, several pads, iphone6, watch). and i will keep boycotting the iphone, pads and watch lines until they will release something worthy again that justifies the purchase. which is maybe never.
but i say such things, too...by stating i have quit playing and supporting online gaming because of people ;-) knowing very well that there are cool online gamers, too. it's just so convenient.
another article where "nintendo" and "needs to" appear in the same context. newsflash: nintendo doesn't care one bit what people have to say. you either buy their stuff or you don't. but trying to argue with them about anything is delusional by definition. they don't listen, they don't care.
so, the switch is the new indy hub? i wish the switch had a bigger installbase so that indie devs would refrain from offering their stuff on highend consoles. the psn store is one big pile of garbage right now. i would appreciate if all of these games went exclusively to the switch. would be win win: the switch users could count the many nany titles they got in their eshop and be very happy about it and ps4 users would get a tidy psn store where quality ruled and not quantity.
dream on, wishful thinking blogger. consoles are made to make money. not to please every nerd's dream of a world where consoles are made that we got something nice to play.
i am at the point where i don't care anymore about the system features. essentially treating my ps4 like a nintendo machine: just gaming because everything else is aimed at someone, but not me as a gamer. i am sure that's exactly what sony wanted to achieve by offering this very lame ps4 OS
i "love" how sony went from a system that was totally promising to the current state of the system where i'm ignoring 95% of the features because they all made the system worse and pretty uninteresting to interact with. notifications of people logging ond and off? during ps3 times it was so cool. now i haven't even switched this feature on - making me effectively ignore everything on my ps4 that has got nothing to do with my games. couldn't care less what others are doin...
i am pushed away by the name of the game and the art style.
thanks for the heads up.
i bought and played the first one, which was underwhelming at best. stopped after a few hours. i will not buy another evil within.
