so nice for switch fans. problem for me: not buying a system for 1 game. hope they are satisfied with their overall sales figures of this game. :/
the past years pretty much every sequel disappointed. with one or two exceptions maybe. one being xcom2 and for the other i will have to go into deep thought mode...i'm sure there is another one.
if you count less or equal to 10million units sold during lifetime sales (source: the universe) a success then hell yeah :P
the only mistake microsoft made was their plan to force the xbox down customer's throats by making all these stupid timed exclusive deals which annoyed the hell out of me personally during the ps3/360 era. instead of convincing the crowds with investing into brilliant game studios and give the box a valid reason to exist they went with the strictly business route. they may have made some short term bucks but today? who is going to get the upcoming xoxbox and who is not already loyal to th...
graphics don't matter (ask any switch user) but square enix lost its way a looooong time ago. ff15 looked good but played way too stiff and generic.
things never looked better but are rotting from the inside. personally, i am fine with my 2 year old iphone. gaming on the go is not for me as the past years turned out.
apple truly has become the nintendo of smartphones. except apple tries to blend everyone with hightech instead of nintendos deiberate subpar approach. but they became as boring as nintendo. and nintendo stuff is also overpriced like hell.
shame on the ones who are indifferent enough to buy this thing. instead of giving, for once... just for once, a signal that we want more than they are willing to offer. we want proper development cycles, thought out concepts, much higher quality and fresh ideas. not another mee-too-shooter that does nothing of interest.
I know, what I demand is very cost-intensive. Then again, so are the games they want us to buy. I can't produce low effort after low effort because I wo...
I think I played this game on the wii 10 years ago. And no, I don't think this game needed another reheat. Jeez, Crapcom.
for a moment i thought i magically slipped back in time to the 2000s when i came upon this headline.
newsflash: this is not really an achievement. if someone took the time to compare the installbase, maybe he/she would have chosen another topic to write about. bloggers these days...
oh and while i used the word chosen: when is xcom2: war of the chosen coming to the switch? i heard it got this stellar third party support this time around that totally does not consist of merely indy games. yes, i know, skyrim.
i just got off a 2+ years early access period in ark survival evolved. while i still think that ark is the game of the decade, i think i'm done supporting early access titles. i am looking forward to playing this title in another 5+ years.
realistically they are going to sugarcoat their online infrastructure and why they think it's ok to charge money for it. no word about that they saw the moneygrabbing nature of such a paid infrastructure at the competition. a competition they are claiming not to be a part of, not even looking at them. the rest of the time will be filled with how the switch is THE experience. and how the unique waggle-about controls enrichen every gamer's life.
rayman and a 9/10. ok. i understand that the switch needs to get hyped beyond belief, but what about a less biased blog post next time?
then I guess they should have taken the time to put together THIS game instead of destiny 1, maybe more people would have stayed with it. now? too little, too late ;-)
i am already. that's why the xoxbox does nothing for me. the ps4 and the pc covers more gaming needs than i got.
it feels like they announced the game the moment when they started their sketches for the concept. like forever. thank god just a little bit longer and we can finally play this thing.
uh, no. thanks. i played destiny 1 already. don't need to watch more of the same.
but due to millions and millions of switch users: it's not the graphics, it's the freaking game! are these graphics comparison blog posts everytime a passive-aggressive blow to the switchers then? *g*
for me, none of the versions matches my gusto. i played destiny 1 and it pretty much bored the hell out of me after a very short time.
sequels almost never surpass the numbers of the original. that's not really a surprise there. what really is a surprise that they did a destiny 2 DESPITE this unwritten law. i guess they did it because most of the game was already there. they only needed some tweaking, some level designer and a marketing campaign.
it hasn't. check their "success": every generation with exception of the attack-from-the-back wii era they sold less and less. wouldn't exactly call that a golden touch.
