i don't get what an iphone price has to do with the xoxbox having almost no incentive to get bought? the xoxbox could come in for 249.- and there still would be no reason to get one.
this bloggerr is not completely wrong. it just took 30 years until we had the same sotuation in our pockets as it was with the classic coin ops. they always wanted to achieve this goal. that we play per pay.
never forget: that we got something nice to play is just a side effect. the real purpose is to move bucks. the more the better. or do you also think that television was invented that we always got interesting things to watch? if yes, think again.
i also only heard good things about the first one. couldn't get into it. i played these kind of games enough in the pasr. another hommage like this franchise is not for me.
kickstarter games always seem to fill a gap in gamer's hearts. but they almost always are falling flat on the nose. tides of numerana, anyone? i was so pumped to play a spiritual successor of planescape torment and they emphasized all the wrong things. what a letdown. seems to be a kickstarter cu...
racing sims are quite boring unless one is really into cars. boughtand played the first one. will not come back with my wallet to play more of the same.
not clicking this article. just wondering by reading the headline: do you really need a part 5 of a jrpg series to tell you how to be a decent human being? better not read this article then.
so why buy a switch when it only gets ports and indies? the nintendo own titles don't appeal to me at all.
only 1 lesson: you can screw up beyond belief and never improve your approach: people will get angry but they forget very quickly.
this game is so boring i tried several times to at least finish the main campaign - to no avail. after a very short while i stop it again.
i also find it very funny that the switch crowd does not get tired to point out how dull the big titles are compared to their nintendo-approach-exclusives but as soon as someone manages to port one of these dull games to the switch it gets celebrated like the golden calf. how should one take this behavior seriously?
i bought it, too. and 6.5 millions units sold of this game only proves the power a franchise can have. if this game got released under a different name i don't think i would have bothered. but it's not important what i THINK. i bought it and that's all they are counting. they are also only counting the sold unit when someone traded it in after a short while, by the way. all they are hearing by counting the sold units is "more of that, please."
were they able to leave all the main quests in the game for it to run smoothly on the world dominating console killer?
who would want to pay for and play the umpteenth generic mee-too online fps? go back to school and find ooutabout how markets are working.
and how many of them, like me, installed it on their phone, frowned and forgot all about it?
what have they won? a pot plant? or the award for the most greedy manufacturer out there? minimum input - maximum output company award?
well, I have played the first one, started the second one and it was exactly the same. the third one and every other sequel they are churning out I ignored. I am not enticed to play again the same thing. some people are claiming that this one is completely different. yah, I highly doubt that they are going to remove their signature features from this franchise. I think it would help when I was 11 years old or so.. then this repetitive gameplay would be overshadowed by the "whoa so brutal...
these mini controllers are always cracking me up when I see photos of them. my hands get cramps just by looking at it. too bad I am not made for this stellar machine that dominates the whole globe.
it is a way better 3d jumper than nintendo has managed to do in the past years. knack feels like a nintendo game done right: on the height of time - just with very shitty character design. if the same game was released by nintendo every blogger and their mother would automatically give it a 9.9/10.
seriously, with such a weak console generation like the current one i fail to fill up my 1tb hdd in my ps4. i download a lot as i'm a fan of digital only distribution but the good titles are so few that there is no need for shrinking stuff. the ability to re diwnload is already more than enough. i almost never re download older games in my library.
i am ignoring most sequels, every remaster and reheat and many indies that seem subpar. and i still got more to play than ...
they definitely need to leave these walking simulators behind and try to mature the VR genre a little bit. we are drowning in better tech demos. now please take the time and start a proper VR experience that blows people away. if you can't afford to take the time to do this: please change profession.
the psn store is a master example of how to inflict chaos on the user's mind, so much is true. BUT. there is no such thing as "mweh, why had title x and title y to get released the same time as our masterpiece. no wonder our masterpiece did not do well."
newsflash for all devs and pubs who think that these things are the reason for their failure: GOOD games will ALWAYS get bought. while mee-too titles will always be in a difficult situation. good games get bou...
is this one of these unaltered ps2 "ports" that uses some kind of backward emulation? if yes, i'll avoid it like the plague.
