There already isn't enough Tax money to pay for enough firefighters and teachers. Why do we as tax payers (and gamers) have to pay for unsuccessful game companies. Imagine if your house burned down due to too many fire fighters got laid off so your city could subsidize the development of a "Two Women One Cup" video game.

Was interested in it when it was first announced, but now we have Warhawk, Soccom, MGSO, KZ2, MW1, MW2, UC2, R1, R2, Lost Planet2, Bioshock 2, R6V, and the daddy of them all MAG. MAG has paratroopers so the HALO drops don't have that same "something new" appeal. Yea, so they've got the whole SSSA (Space Solder in Shiny Armor) thing going for them but that would have been a major selling point only if it would have come out as a PS3 exclusive... and if that was last year.
Around the time it was being released on the PS3, MS started advertising NG2 like crazy, not to mention the PC vs Mac ads that feature Sony products. They must really like throwing money around to help Sony because they seem to do so every 3-6 months. Ohh and we wont mention the commercials that feature theme songs from ads that Sony already used to promote games such as LBP.
What's next, MS ads for New Super Mario Bros.
too bad it's being released near so many great games. Could have really used this game last summer during the drought. As much fun as this game is, I've got UC2 to beat as well as MAG to keep me busy till March 16th.
but I wish Sony would start using universal brand names. If it's called Qore in the US, why cant it be called Qore in EU/UK. If the goal is to streamline Sony as a whole, why not start using the same brand names for all territories.

I've already got a console, now all I need is to be able to afford the games. At 60 bucks a pop I've found myself wading knee deep in the bargin bin to pick up 1-2 year old games just to get them at reasonable prices. What the industry needs is Ps2 era pricing.
$50 for AAA
$40 for Good games
$30 for those games you just want for the Trophies or Achievements.

I've played Halo on my friends 360 and finding a match takes forever compared to KZ2. On top of that there is way too much down time between matches. In KZ2 you get about 1-2 mins before the next match begins... just enough time to grab a coke or take a wizz. Between Halo matches you could bake a cake just waiting for the lobby to get full. On top of that you don't have to worry about that "Host migration" or "host left game" crap... not to mention "host lag advantage...

At 12-16 seconds into the video you will notice that both the screen and his body is both in the screen. He swings a powerful downward swipe with his right arm and half of his body. On the screen it shows him standing still with both arms up. At no point in the game does his body movement and those of the game match up, not even if you factor in a 1-2 sec delay.

Every week me and a friend go by Walmart for the usual provisions, and each time we make a trip through the electronics department. Time and time again for the past few weeks there is never any Wiis or PS3s but lots of 360s... except for yesterday when there was 2 PS3s available. How long those two consoles lasted I don't know, but I doubt they saw the light of day on that shelf (it was around 10pm this past Wednesday).
